Trump is not the first POTUS to abandon the Kurdish people.

BEIRUT (AP) — For Syria’s Kurds, the United States’ abrupt pull-back from positions in northeast Syria carries a sharp sting, reviving the community’s memories over being abandoned in the past by the Americans and other international allies on whose support they had pinned their aspirations.

I mean yeah dude we know the President's personal defense team/part time US Attorney General William Barr is going to specifically craft a narrative with his report to make Trump and the Republicans look good and the Democrats look bad to distract from the impeachment inquiry.  Just like the "bombshell" Nunes memo and the "bombshell" OIG report and the "bombshell" texts where Peter Strzok said he doesn't like Trump like literally half the country and all the other distraction attempts.  We know.

It is not that hard.

Dems are drinking from the same trough as Trump.

If Dems attack Trump (and his children/associates) for criminal financial dealings a Pandora's Box of shady financial dealings (for both parties) will be exposed for all to see.

Until the American people stop turning a blind eye to the shady dealings of their own party (team) our nation will never be able to effectively address political corruption.

Dealing with political corruption should not be an either or proposition.

BOTH Trump and Biden can be held (and should be) accountable for their (and their families) shady behavior.

Both sides?

Really?

Bravo Mad Dog.

Mad Dog has had 23948343 opportunities to take the rightful stand vs Trump publicly since he has left office.  He has refused every single time when given the opportunity.

When given a chance again, Mad Dog will continue to avoid it.   Jokes are just jokes.  He gets no credit here IMO.

Watch the full speech. He rips trump hardcore   But also rips the leftist like those on this forum. He obviously prefaces that he believes in bipartisanship, building relationships and coming together.

anyone that has been in DC for decades....has proven they can be bought and sold at one point or another.   Varies degrees obviously.   But they all have proven that.  That is why they are still there.

I'll give the full thing a watch later.  Still don't like how Mad Dog has literally run from every opportunity and refused it....and the only time he does it is in an environment where "jokes" can be used by the ones that need to hear as a means to dismiss it.

This is not a knock at Bernie as this is something where he is much ahead of the curve from almost all.  But there is still dark money that filters into his bids.

In August 2016, shortly after he ended his 2016 presidential bid, Sanders launched Our Revolution, a 501(c)(4) “social welfare” nonprofit organization that says it aims to “revitalize American democracy, empower progressive leaders and elevate the political consciousness.” Our Revolution is overtly political  — it’s been openly advocating for Sanders himself to again seek the presidency — and isn’t fully transparent about who funds it. For example, Our Revolution lists the first and last names of its contributors who give $250 or more per year — but that’s it, even for donors who give six figures. It’s difficult to accurately identify donors with only this information. Among Our Revolution’s name-only donors: “Ben Wilson,” “Sarah Brown,” “John Allen” and “Anonymous Anonymous.” Sanders himself has long run his political campaigns on a platform of political transparency. “We actually provide more information on our donors than is legally required,” Our Revolution spokeswoman Diane May told the Center for Public Integrity. “Out of respect for our donors, we do not share the exact contributions and some people do ask to remain anonymous.”

Trump sure got Turkey to back down, and got our guys out of there

https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/18/middleeast/syria-turkey-ceasefire-violations-intl/index.html

CNN)Clashes continued on the border between Turkey and Syria on Friday, according to eyewitnesses and Kurdish fighters, despite US Vice President Mike Pence's announcement that he and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had brokered a five-day ceasefire there.

Shelling and artillery fire was reported Friday in the border town of Ras al-Ain, one of the targets of Turkey's week-old offensive against Kurdish fighters, who have long been backed by the United States.
The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) told CNN that shelling by the Turkish military and the Syrian rebel proxies supporting them has hit a number of civilian areas in Ras al-Ain, including a hospital. The SDF says five fighters were killed in the attack.

---

The five day ceasefire lasted 12 hours.
