Did you even read that article you linked?? LOL

Parsons is unlikely to have a career as long as Peppers but if he maintains the same "level" of production and plays 12 seasons, it would result in a 124.68 sack career. I got this number by taking the percentage drop in Peppers year 5-12 drop from year 1-4 and extrapolating it out from Parsons sack rate. I also used the same game played percentage as a factor. That would be a top 30 career sack total and he would basically be 1-2 seasons of production away(which is very reasonable) from being top 10 all time.

crazy Rhule a literal PSU alum and lifer didn't take parsons. Useless bum of a HC.
-
If he gets traded its to a competitive AFC team. This isn't worth getting worked up about
-
Here's another article stating they wanted to trade him years ago because of him rubbing teammates the wrong way. where does this all come from @TD alt? https://www.totalprosports.com/nfl/jane-slater-bombshell-report-cowboys-concerns-with-micah-parsons/
-
Here's another article alluding to his attitude issues that I clearly made up from Sports Illustrated to push my narrative. @kungfoodude I request a trade for you to the Cowboys fans. Jokes. It ain't that serious boys. https://www.si.com/nfl/cowboys/news/brian-schottenheimer-nsfw-quote-describe-dallas-cowboys-offensive-plan

Oooh....The genius Dallas fans
-
The elephant in the room is this is the Panthers we're talking about. Who knows when we're going to be truly competitive again and for how long anyways. And at the end of the day you still need that guy behind center. Teams that traded for Khalil Mack thought they hit the big time. Haven't accomplished anything.
-
It was the first thing that came up when I Googled it. I am sitting right here. It's not hard. Not like I put a ton of effort into this.
-
Would you take 8 (hypothetical) seasons here with slightly higher production than Pep?
-
You keep ignoring the questions. I don't know how many more times or ways I can say it. This didn't come from nowhere. I avoid players like this. We have a difference of opinion. That's ok. I assure you.
-
Parsons to Peppers comparison is an interesting one. Julius played 17 seasons though. I have a hard time seeing anywhere near the same for the newer generations of players. So many variables and distractions now. Aaron Donald only played 10 seasons. Von Miller is only in his 13th season but he's gotta be as close as he can be to done at this point. It's just a different league now.
-
I mean....if you had to go research all this to support your claims and the best you could do was one guy and a Reddit thread, I am going to definitely say that this seems to be some personal grudge or some other issue you are having. I am literally sending this thread to my friends who are die hard Dallas Cowboy fans and we are laughing our asses off in a group chat. If nothing else, thanks for the entertainment.
-
Dude, you've taken what an old Cowboy player said, who's making his living in the local media, and run away with it. That is overblown. All you really have to do is look at the current evidence. The preponderance of teammates and fans alike are on Parsons' side.
-
I avoid players with character concerns generally. That coupled with his asking price was enough for me to say absolutely no to this hypothetical trade. For some reason dudes seem to be crashing out over my opinion.
-
Not dying on any hill brother. It's not happening anyway. Are we not here for discussion? What am I supposed to do here? Just agree with you?
-
I don’t understand so what is the problem? He’s a top 2 player at the second or third most important position in the league. But because a guy who never played with him personally didn’t like him you think he’s a locker room problem or diva? I don’t understand the leap you’re making to get there
-
I was trying to put it into terms you could understand. Most of us aren't dealing with reporters in our face. I am saying stuff to support a narrative just like you are. However, I did not create all this. It already existed and I just provided it as evidence. Where are the things like this about DB?
-
I am not sure I have seen a more illogical hill dying event than this. This poo is wild. Lol.
-
I know very little about the dude. Wild to me you have this take. If you read, I said early I had this feeling and wasn't sure why. I have just looked all this stuff up while bickering with you guys about it. What personal beef could I possibly have? You think all this was made up and completely baseless? I didn't make his teammate say that, or post the stuff on Reddit from a year ago just to argue with you today.
-
HR isn't going to say a damned thing, and players aren't "scared" by nature. You're saying this stuff to support a narrative.
-
I live in Dallas and I can say with complete confidence that fans here are more angry at Dak Prescott and his crazy contract and Jerry for giving it to him than anything Parsons. They blame those 2 for the fact that they can't keep Parsons.
-
Look, I can see you clearly have some personal animosity towards Parsons to be constructing wild rumors to spread but the NFL cares nothing about that. He is one of the most valuable players in the entire league because of the level of player he is. That isn't going to change because you don't like the kid. It's more than a bit foolish to abandon all logic due to some personal axe to grind.
-
Nearly every amazing player will have a former teammate that talks poo about him. Real locker room cancers have more than one former teammate doing it. And especially given the current situation I tend to lean that Parsons is in no way a lock room cancer. Like many great players he likely knows his value and that can occasionally rub people wrong, which I imagine is what happened.

You can be the best and still be a selfish prick. It goes hand in hand a lot of times.
