But I think if we're honest with ourselves, he doesn't. Canales may genuinely believe we can win, and even win big, with Bryce at question. Do I believe it? No, but what I, you or anyone else believes doesn't really matter. So basically, if Canales believes in Young, then He's going to continue working with him as the starter until there comes a point where he doesn't. Man, the Rams really did nab two great ones in Kupp and as soon as he started aging out, Nacua. They're so similar too. Both have good size and aren't great athletes but are just really smart football players and great technicians and natural catchers, then they just have a knack to make plays after the catch despite not having great NFL athleticism.

There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at. In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there. The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not. There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.

Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
