Every coordinator hire has that potential at some point. Some more than others. -

shame he never got to coach Jon Kasey -
Good point. All those Super Bowl seasons in 2018-22 really came and went.

I am. He can't catch. History to this point favors my opinion, and it will continue to favor it in the future.
-
I would not trade Coker, a UDFA, for Harrison, a top/five pick.

This thread is full of “Yeah, but”. Just be glad the guy played great. I’ll take three touchdowns and no turnovers any week of the year. We don’t need to move the goalposts further every time he plays well anymore than we shorten them when he doesn’t.

You can win a lot running for 250+.

This is pretty much where I am. Bryce has done a very good job the last couple months and he's earned the right to be in the conversation as the starting QB moving forward. That said, I still want another QB from the draft as well as a competitive option from FA.

OFFiCIAL Panthers vs Cardinals GameDay thread

Happy for Bryce to come out and play so great. Hubbard was the driving force as usual, and that's alright. Great team win. -
One running back against seven defenders and the running back pushes them all back. Wow.
-
Why were they playing the pass?

Lee's one of the ones who needs to go.

Because the Panthers are a worse roster, top to bottom, and last year's beatdown wasn't lost on me. I put 3 units on Dallas ML and was rewarded handsomely.

100% chance OP is from Gastonia. -
Oh there are two guys at the top of my board who will be there at 2. And one of them at 3. Otherwise, trade down.
-
Same as Young: bring in some competition. Legitimate competition.
-
That's also the comparison I had in mind. Definitely Victor Cruz vibes. He's second in the league among rookies in YPC and, despite missing half the season, is 11th in yards.
-
Part of his ability is to create a broken coverage -- most every catch on this team is contested, year-in and year-out. So his hands, route-running savvy and overall talent equate to a star in the making. Also, I would far rather go QB, DL or trade down than pick yet another WR early.
-
4 catches for 110 yards by a UDFA in his first game in more than a month is far more than "playing well." I swear a guy could put up 9 catches for 215 yards, 3 TDs and this board would say "he played decent but he's still not that good". It's OK to admit we have a star WR in the making.

Coker has shown more this season than Philly Brown did in his career. It's OK to underrate him but don't go crazy with it.
-
No. He's not a franchise QB, but he's not the worst QB of all time like we feared in September. He was on a heater for a while and he had a bad game in a game I said all week was a horrible matchup for this team. If you don't give up >200 yards rushing and fail miserably on third downs, you can probably overcome 2-3 of his turnovers. But the whole team sucked other than Coker. Young would've needed to have his best game ever to win when the defense is this decimated and awful.

Bryce's comedown game after weeks of his teammates letting him down. Hammered Cowboys ML.
