Props to Gman for realising how weak this draft is and then taking advantage by maximizing the amount of starter potential that we can get. I also really like how we have kept all of our picks for next year, even though we have traded a combined 38 spots up in the draft. But that just further proves how Gman views this as a weak draft class

I would be very dissapointed if one or more of our 5 draft picks failed to make the roster. I think we will probably see a couple of UDFA make the roster as well, as we have been used to under Gman

To say that he has done nothing when it comes to OT is wrong, when the 3 guys that will be competing for the two spots are guys who weren't on the roster at this time last year. And back to back division championships for the first time in NFC South history should earn him some trust with the fanbase. But i guess not...

It would be interesting to trade back in though. We have a squad with good depth and there is no way that 7 rookies would have made the roster let alone 9 + a couple of UDFA. If we could net a late 3rd by trading our 4th, 5th and 7th we would probably have a good to fair shot of all 5 of our picks making the roster and then i am sure that Gman will work his magic with the undrafted guys and pushing that number up to around 7-8.

With no third it would probably take all of our picks (remember comp picks cant be traded) to get into the mid-late 3rd. So a 4,5 and 7

There is no point in talking about how good a pick is moments after they are made. Gettleman has done a stellar job in the draft so far, so i have no reason not to support the decisions that he makes. And i remember how many people thought that the Seahawks were reaching a whole damn lot in the 2011 draft. A draft that netted them players like Richard Sherman and Byron Maxwell.

When will people learn to trust Gettleman? With the work he has done so far, he at least deserves the benefit of the doubt and i will support any decision he makes in the draft until i have a reason not to. And no, 'experts' slamming our picks is most definitely not a reason.

Devin Funchess ran a 4.47 at his pro day which is more than reasonable for a guy his size.

No thank you to Cedric in the 1st. Gettleman is always preaching to take instant impact players in the early rounds. And look at what has happened to the 49'ers. Loaded roster, but spent waaaay to many resources into guys who could end up paying dividens down the road, but eventually ended up failing and now they are probably ending last in their division.

Of course not, but people talk as if Harper was the only guy who was at fault for our midseason struggles. He actually ended the season with with stats and play that i would consider more than adequate. But i would to like to see a young guy be brought in to compete with both Boston and Harper.

I thought Harper ended the season on a High note as the rest of the team. No Reason to change that, when he also Helps the young guys be in the right place at the right time.
