  1. How could I forget teeray and PhillyB? Lord forgive me.
  2. Omg I used to love Captain Planet as a kid. I always felt like the kid that got the heart ring got kinda screwed. I mean, your buddy gets fire or water or wind and you get heart?! That's bogus man.
  3. RoaringRiot SCP Cary Kollins The Huddler P55 Mad Hatter In no particular order.
  4. This site is the first thing I look at when I wake up, and the last thing I see when I go to bed. Much to the chagrin of my wife. Plus I've been here a really, really long time. Let's do this.
  5. Nicks is garbage man. Torrey Smith is a good receiver with speed to go across from Kelvin Benjamin and Ginn is a great return man. You should be happy if we got both. I doubt Ginn would even see the field much on offense. When we bring him in for a visit you basically say hey teddy you are basically coming as a special teams guy and also 4/5 receiver. We will pay you X dollars for that role. Maybe after all these years he still has hope as a WR in his mind, but the FA market will tell him otherwise.
  6. Bert with a T Vs. Marc with a C has potential to be a pretty epic fight poster. I'd steal one off the wall at Buffalo Wild Wings and put it in my garage that's for sure.
  7. People talk about Hardy having paid her off while losing sight that she was the one that "may" have happily cashed the alleged check. If she was so gotdamn concerned with what happened to her and wanted to see justice prevail, she would have simply shown up to court, cried her little eyes out, got him convicted of a crime, then used that conviction to easily win a civil suit. But she didn't do that because she is a gold digging fame chaser and this was always about one thing. Hardy dropped this chick and she wanted a severance package.
  8. If you think the NFL doesn't have local municipalities in their pocket, you are crazy. Convenient that this whole fiasco ended a week after the Super Bowl.
  9. I would think the NFLPA would have something to say about a six game suspension under a policy that was adopted AFTER Hardy's incident occurred and absent a conviction. I would think a two game suspension (ala Ray Rice) would be appropriate.
  10. So does this mean you can't marry a woman who has been divorced or has children?
  11. I've been in civil and criminal court many times but that doesn't make me a lawyer so I'm going to ask the benevolent judges that sit in session on the huddle... Two parties agreeing on a settlement (with no proof yet that they did) means fug all in a criminal case. Settlements are for civil cases. The DA can still press charges against Hardy, but the case was dismissed because their leading (only) witness has been a lying flake since before the bench trial even started so the DA knows that she can't be relied on to make a case?
  12. I don't know where people get this misconception that people don't settle cases or make plea deals when they are innocent or are going to win. Anyone that says this is completely ignorant of court proceedings of any kind.
  13. She's lucky she isn't in California. We just passed a law here against posting "revenge-porn" thanks in large part to Hunter Moore. The way this law is written, a case could certainly be made that this falls under that category if he pressed charges.
  14. Wish I could help, but I've gone years without creating a facebook so I can't start now. Does Instagram count?
  15. Greg isn't coming back because Kony Ealy has been chillin with Nelly and posting it on Instagram and that would make for an extraordinarily awkward defensive line meeting room every day. Not gonna happen.
  16. Wow Always you produce shitty commercials like a girl.
  17. Just like the spygate assistant that disappeared and supposedly moved to Hawaii.
  18. As if on cue, the Patriots are about to let a locker room assistant fall on the sword for this.
  19. I would actually love to have Crabtree at a decent price. I feel like he is on par with LaFell talent-wise, and as much as the Huddle likes to poo on him, we could have really used LaFell's talent this past season. I'd still like to draft a WR if possible, but Olsen, Benjamin, Crabtree and Brown isn't that bad of a group of guys for Cam to be throwing it to.
  20. Can someone tell me why every gotdamn scandal in the world needs the word gate as a suffix? Like there wasn't any scandal prior to watergate? Deflategate has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life, and if you are a professional journalist using that word you should kill yourself.
  21. The real embarrassing thing is that a DB and a defensive lineman can catch Andrew Luck's properly inflated footballs better than his WR's can.
  22. Unfortunately, the NFL is in a really tough spot with this, because it will cause a suspicion to be cast over the biggest game of the year. That being said, here's how I see it playing out: The referees check the balls and hold them right up until game time. They are then given back to each teams equipment manager. The NFL absolutely cannot afford to suspend Billichek or Brady or have there legacy even more tarnished by this poo, because Bob Craft has Goodell in his pocket. So either a ball boy or equipment manager or both will take the fall for this and say they did it without Brady or BB's knowledge. They will say they knew Tom preferred to use a less inflated ball, so they did it without his knowledge or consent to try and help him out. That guy will be the patsy in this (much like the videographer in spygate), and the Patriots juggernaut will keep moving forward. Maybe a loss of some sort of a draft pick but I doubt it because again, they'll say it was done without organizational knowledge. 10 years from now, or right around the time Brady is due to enter the HOF, the ball boy will get a check for $50K from TMZ for telling his story and for providing evidence that BB and Brady DID in fact know about it and more drama will come up, with the faux outrage and the whole bit. That's how I see this going down.
  23. Honestly I would love to re watch the game. I'd like to go play by play and see how many non-Patriot hands touch the ball after each offensive Patriot play. Between the other team and the refs and everything there has to be over a hundred times that the balls were touched (let's be grown ups here) without someone noticing the significant difference until one guy on the Colts noticed something. Presumably then they would have used another ball that the Patriots scored 28 unanswered points with. I know if it was our team I'd probably be bitching a lot more but until I seem some irrefutable timeline I'm gonna wait to destroy Brady and Bellichik, even though I'd love too.
  24. So it was found that 11 of 12 patriots balls were under inflated. I still couldn't care any less. The refs have multiple opportunities between every single play to see if the ball has been altered. So it is obviously so insignificant of an amount that they didn't notice it even though the side judge, linesman, and referee all touch the ball almost before every play. And they scored 28 points after this was supposedly brought to their attention. The Colts are reaching new lows with this silly poo.
