That data is flawed. They include extra points only after 2015 as “clutch kicks” but 75% of the kickers on the list weren’t kicking 33 yard XPs in their careers. -

Lol damn this entire f*cking board has amnesia. How many clutch kicks did Gano really miss? Oh the one against the Broncos in 2016? That’s the only actual game winning field goal I can recall him missing in his entire time with the Panthers. He made all the others he lined up for with the game on the line. Giants and Colts in 2015 he made. Patriots in 2017. Giants in 2018. I guess he wasn’t clutch though. Moving on from Gano was understandable given his injury but saying he wasn’t clutch is the dumbest trash take the Huddle has taken up this year. -

Off the top of my head just thinking about game winners/tying FGs, Bengals in 2014 (made a long FG at the end of regulation to send it to OT and a FG to keep it tied at the end of OT). 2015 against the Colts in OT (two FGs, one to tie and one to win in wet conditions). 2015 against the Giants to win it at the end. 2017 against the Patriots at the end to win it. The only last second game winning FG chance I remember him missing was the 2016 Broncos game. Bottom line is he was way more clutch than he wasn't. Saying he wasn't clutch is just wrong, and I guess it's just because everyone here has a bad memory or haven't been fans for very long. -

3 clutch kicks? Man you have an extremely selective memory. He had way more than 3. You can say maybe he wouldn't have continued to be successful if he stayed with the Panthers past his injury, but you straight up said he was "NOT clutch for the Panthers". Your words. That's just a blatantly wrong statement. -

That 2019 miss in New Orleans comes to mind -

I get why they did it at the time because the 2017 Panthers roster was veteran heavy and ready to compete for a Super Bowl and they didn’t want to have a rookie kicker with a roster like that. Gano was then and still is one of the best kickers in the NFL so even though losing Butker stung they still had a great kicker. Now we have none and it’s just so typical Panthers to do something stupid like that. -

Bro you just said Gano was NOT clutch for the Panthers that’s just a flat out wrong statement -
He won’t stay healthy more than 3-4 games

???? Wtf!!! Yes he was. He hit tons of game winners. Slye never hit ONE game winning FG. -
ya know I had forgotten Amini was a thing on this team until you mentioned him. what a disaster that pick was.

Panthers defense was just flat out more talented than the Jets offense. The Panthers should have put this ass-whipping on the Jets. If we see a performance like this against the Saints on Sunday, I will begin getting erect.

how do you know where his heart is?

to be fair he never got to play against the Jets while he was on the Jets

This is the same offense we saw in 2019. QB sucks so just give it to CMC and hope he can drag the offense to victory. They drafted Chuba and claimed Freeman for a reason. They shouldn’t need 30 touches from CMC to beat the Jets.

What have we got to lose? They can't be much worse than what's on the field.
-
We didn't really give Santoso a chance.
-
what about that guy on the ravens practice squad
-
who the f is kicking now

Seems pretty fair. Panthers are likely to lose but might surprise everyone.
-
I think it’s going to be a game full of bad QB play. But I think Payton schemes up some good plays for Winston and the Panthers lose.

Didn’t mention only scoring 3 points in the second half did he
