  1. Very possible. With how bad the defense is going to be especially if some of the key starters get injured would require the offense to put up 500 points this season to have a winning record. The offense is good enough right now to compete in the playoffs if they had a great to elite defense in line with the best Panthers years in history. The defense though, in reality, is probably in the mix for worst in the NFL again. Although I feel like Evero has been routinely tasked with making salad out of sh*t, I don't think he gets reupped for another contract and mutually parts ways after this season.
  2. Dave Caneles should be coach of the year if this team makes the playoffs. Even if it's 9-8 and the final wild card spot.
  3. Dalton looked like he should retire. Those 3 games or so last year he looked decent might have been it for his career.
  4. Yea exactly even with a few good starters there’s still practice squad guys who will be playing a lot of meaningful snaps especially if a few guys get hurt. Might be in the running for the worst defense in the league again.
  5. Defense is gonna be dogshit for another season probably
  6. Someone got dinged up and we haven't heard about it yet
  7. How is it wild? He’s a Manning. And a much less physically talented Quinn Ewers looked pretty good at times in Sarkesian’s offense. Manning could be mediocre for one year as a starter and still go #1 overall on pedigree alone. But I expect he will put up some good stats next year.
  8. Sleeper? They're tanking for Arch Manning it's the most obvious thing I've ever seen in my life.
  9. Gettleman sure could draft after the first round I'll give him credit there. If they continued with his style the players would have all hated each other too.
  10. First game of the preseason in JULY and yall out here talking sh*t about second stringers lol
  11. I like hearing it’s getting chippy. A lot of the same guys as last year on both sides. Means they’re getting to know each others strengths and weaknesses and get under each others skin. That bodes well for improvement across the board. Just like how Jordan Gross credits going up against Julius Peppers in practice for making him a better player. I mean no sh*t bro you had to block a certified HOFer every day hahaha
  12. I see a lot of "Bryce at QB" and "incomplete"
  13. What else should they do? Sign a different, younger journeyman free agent QB? Draft another QB? Dalton already knows the offense made this team look competitive at times last year, lets not forget that. He could step in and win a game or two if called upon. And this is Bryce's make or break year. If Bryce sh*ts the bed this year he isn't getting his 5th year option picked up and they'll probably be in the market for another QB in the first round next offseason. So what difference does it make? You think signing someone like Mitch Trubisky is going to make a big difference over Andy Dalton?
  14. He’s a backup. Most teams are cooked if their starter went down for more than a couple games
  15. I'm encouraged and confident the Panthers won't be the worst team in the NFL next year.
  16. Did not like Teddy as a football player but he seems like a good dude. I guess this is the “if you’re going to bring in a snack you need to bring enough for the whole class” penalty because of the care he gave to the team the other schools can’t compete. It’s a shame that doing good for some kids who likely have a rough home life is punished these days.
  17. What a pathetic excuse for an NBA team. The league has made this franchise a punch line for late night TV jokes if they even remember the team exists. I GREW UP IN CHARLOTTE and followed the team in the good years and even I still forget the Hornets still exist sometimes. The truth is there is no reason for this team to exist. Delete franchise and follow college basketball.
  18. The Hornets are never going to be good and it would be better if they didn't exist. Picking garbage players forever and ever and it will never change.
  19. If you are loose with “this year” and “going” then sure
  20. Rodgers isn’t going to last a full season as the Steelers QB. I bet this is his last season.
  21. I agree with this. Florida is going to be tough to beat. But they can’t keep that group together much longer so the hurricanes window might open a little wider. My problem is the series should have looked the way it did in games 4 and 5. From the second period of game 1 thru 3 were an abysmal effort and the players just looked defeated. I was very disappointed in the overall effort until games 4 and 5. I think it’s very fair to ask if Rod is the right man for the job right now. If they’d gotten swept again and they lost game 4 like 5-0, id say he might need to go. But I think the team bounced back enough to give him another year with the front office going all in to bolster the roster. Failure to reach the finals with a full push to build the roster to win now, Rod goes next offseason, and the team focuses on retooling around their younger players.
  22. They tried. Not a good enough team to beat Florida. They are bigger faster and more talented. The effort wasn’t there for the whole series and that’s on Rod
  23. I threw down $100 on the Florida money line after they scored their first goal
