  1. he is hilarious and he embraces it. This is gonna be early David Letterman good. I love how the league is falling in love with him.
  2. read this article earlier today, noted this....he's getting better In 2024, he earned career-highs from Pro Football Focus in his overall offensive grade (71.7) and run-blocking grade (80.5) while earning a 95.9-percent efficiency rate in pass protection. also like that he thinks we are on the verge of greatness....I can feel it....gotta take a step this season but I think we'll have a team unity unlike anything since 2015. Canales is building the team, and the players are improving which coaching for the first time I can remember
  3. and sounds like one is incoming shortly Carolina Panthers president of football operations and general manager Dan Morgan joined 99.9 The Fan's The Drive with Tim Donnelly on Wednesday. While chatting about his haul from the 2025 NFL draft, specifically fifth-round pick Lathan Ransom, Morgan was asked if the team is still on the lookout for a free safety. "Yeah, we're definitely gonna explore some guys that are still out there," he replied. "But drafting a guy like Lathan, I just think he brings that demeanor and that mentality that we're looking for—that physical presence out there, that tone-setter-type mentality. As for who's out there on the open market, Julian Blackmon and Marcus Williams—both of whom visited with the Panthers back in late March—could still be on Morgan's radar. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/01/panthers-dan-morgan-free-agency-safety-nfl-draft/83375411007/?taid=681356b281b2ac00012a7808&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
  4. during the draft I had concerns....after the draft and reading about our picks, I feel very good. There was a lot of love for our draft this year, and we're not used to that. Last year was not so much but if Legette grows, and if Brooks can get healthy and stay that way, and Sanders develops, it was a good draft. But I just feel different this year, more confidence than ever, but it's that time of the year....every fan of every time is feeling better about who they pull for. That said, I'm liking Morgan a lot right now. It won't be hard for him to become our best GM ever....low bar. But he can set it higher.
  5. second straight year the NFL has fined the Falcons. Usually it's the Saints that get caught cheating
  6. damn...if we don't have room can we bring him in for the Saints and Falcons games?
  7. all of a sudden we have a crowded WR room but I'm pulling for him. Good kid, went to Socastee High, near Myrtle Beach, then to Clemson and I think really surprised everyone that he got drafted and did well. Fun player to watch too. Hope he makes it. I expect Thielen to retire after this season, Hunter could be a good replacement.
  8. King Tet talking to Jaycee already. McMillan, shortly after he was drafted, was asked which NFL cornerback he wants to "Moss" most. His answer was an intriguing one. "Well, since we're going to be going against each other in practice, it's Jaycee Horn," Jaycee Horn @jayceehorn_10 · Follow Seatbelts go on all sizes let’s get it lil bra!! @TMAC96795 Keep Purring Podcast (Ben) @KeepPurringBen Great article by @KassidyGHill TMac vs Horn "With that in mind, when asked in one booth which NFL corner he was most looking to 'Moss,' McMillan quickly answered, "Well, since we're going to be going against each other in practice, it's Jaycee Horn." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/04/29/panthers-tetairoa-mcmillan-jaycee-horn-nfl-draft/83347503007/?taid=68111d1ca9319b00015aff6d&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
  9. starting to think we got the steal of the draft....had no idea about the weigh gain, which I thought was because TAM asked him to play heavier. But he sounds so serious about being in the right shape and working hard. I watched his tape from his previous team and he looked like a demon. and love his attitude
  10. I don't want to trade Clowney. I hope he can mentor our 2 young guys now that he has someone to help. And Wonnum looked once he got his feet under him. The 4 should make a nice package. Clowney's trade value is not much at all. A 5th at best. He's old and getting close to the end. You gonna trade more than a 5th for a couple of years of going from 32 to 34?
  11. 21 year old idiot https://x.com/Schultz_Report/status/1916585078836150291 https://x.com/Schultz_Report/status/1916585995161550939 https://x.com/Schultz_Report/status/1916587617061163061
  12. son of a moose! In my mock I was taking him late. Welcome Muhammed III ! almost started a new thread but I'll put it here Little "Moose," a Charlotte, N.C. native, played at Texas A&M University from 2020 to 2024. The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder, over those five seasons, amassed 81 receptions for 1,163 yards and 12 touchdowns. Muhammad also served as a punt returner for the Aggies, fielding 27 total attempts for a combined 194 yards (7.2 yards per return). https://x.com/ThePanthersWire/status/1916523021046530151
  13. according to these 3, we had the best draft in the division These are the draft grades given respectively by Pro Football Focus, CBS Sports, and NFL.com: ATL--A-, B-, B- CAR--A+, A-, B- NO--C+, B, B- TB--B+, B+, B+
  14. According to Joe Person of The Athletic, the Panthers have recently sent out feelers to gauge potential interest in outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney. He wrote the following in a post-draft rundown from Saturday evening: https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/04/26/nfl-rumors-panthers-trade-interest-olb-jadeveon-clowney/83304147007/?taid=680d7cf63d26750001f485fa&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter

  16. here's Jacolby Georges draft profile https://www.si.com/college/miami/football/jacolby-george-2025-nfl-combine-and-draft-profile
  17. Mike Kaye @mike_e_kaye · 19m The #Panthers have 70 players under contract and eight draft prospects. That's 78 spots. If the Panthers stay put with the roster as is (meaning no reductions, highly doubtful btw), they'll have 12 spots open for UDFAs and veteran signings.
  18. hope this hasn't been posted. This is our new Panther. Love the attitude https://x.com/avl_mike/status/1916123133204930878
  19. Ick wanting too much for the job he's done. Hope he realizes he's ok but has never got close to a pro bowl
  20. Bucs had a 6th rd ot who played in 6 pro bowls. I guess it could be done
  21. sorry if this was posted in all the pages I haven't read, but just saw this Sanders met with Giants who called him out for being unprepared, and then it "didn't go well" https://x.com/barstoolsports/status/1916149356345938297?t=GnC1wOu8xGTDyQS78fu_Rw
