Garbage time sack by Burns
-
if nothing else at least Sam howell isn’t the quarterback

hoping it’s just a delay in getting the offense installed because everyone’s new, but through the early part of the season the offense looks dated. nobody’s getting the ball in stride, no open spaces. It’s all run run run to set up the dig or the out. And then a screen to Theilen

Tua is 18 for 19 right now

Road environment will be tough but with Seattle being banged up and a veteran QB on the field they should look a bit better. They could steal this one, but the lack of guys at CB could be a real issue.

starting to looks like a pretty good WR draft

where’s WhoaCam to tell us about how we should’ve passed on Bryce for Shaduer
-
yeah, grass gives there. Turf doesn’t. Now the biggest investment of Dave’s career is sitting on the sidelines.

pro ready doesn’t mean immediately step into the extremely complex environment that is an nfl football field and be a superstar just so frankw doesn’t look silly at the water cooler

oh so you’re just here to react sensationally to get the voices out of your head okay noted
-
it’s literally just one player, one that will likely and very intentionally be replaced with a pretty notable free agent acquisition to compensate it doesn’t NEED to be reacquired, and if the team does draft pretty high, then you’re likely drafting out of a pretty similar talent pool of players from 25-40 anyways. If you like a guy and wanna move up then do it. they don’t need to go intentionally seeking a 1st round pick.

It’s a pretty comprehensive set of data. This graph combined with the advanced metrics we’ve seen on both time to throw and average yards of separation paint a pretty clear picture which meshes well with eye test (at least so far as it pertains to people who know what they’re looking at and don’t get consumed with watching the QB) if what is going on horrific is also a sensational, perhaps even, hysterical, term given the aforementioned performances on other recent rookie QBs through their first games and first seasons-ones that are leading their teams on deep playoff runs youre impatient that’s the problem

Marty Hurney, Dave Gettleman, Scott Fitterer
Growl replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Gettleman disassembled a Super Bowl roster in the middle of a window and never meaningfully sought to bolster it. Hard to do worse than that. -
Seems anti intellectual

Oh wow tell me more about your scouting evaluations

You had no assurance the team would have a top 1 pick. You had no assurance you would draft Caleb Williams. You had no assurance Caleb Williams would be a good nfl player. You did have the assurance you could move into the first slot and take a top tier QB talent. You had the assurance that you were going to squander another prime season or defensive pieces like Brian burns and Derrick brown. you’re afraid that you’re going to be bored this off-season. It starts and ends there. what if the team stockpiled a bunch of cap space for the future? what if the team traded down and collected a whole bunch of picks in the middle rounds? what if they took a chance on a plug and play veteran QB to hold the tide for one more season? Then they would prolong their stint as a loser franchise and set another season ablaze with talented defensive cornerstones in place. no need to argue, we’ve seen your methodology and it’s inevitable result play out numerous times. It makes the off-season exciting for the loser fans who get sucked into lots of mock drafts and off-season hype and “he’s not with Adam gase anymore” and then the inevitable transpires when the things that actually matter start
