  1. We’re building one of those bleeding edge defenses full of positionless players that a bunch of teams have tried and never gotten to work
  2. I’m starting to not like ejiro evero
  3. Kuntz had the highest RAS score of any tight end-ever. won’t be surprised if he’s the pick here
  4. We’re approaching trade down territory. Couple guys left I’d sit for but it’s getting thin.
  5. 15 reported teams subscribe to a relatively new form of cognition testing designed to test athletes, especially QBs, cognitive abilities called the S2. Haener scored very well, second in the class behind Young.
  6. The eagles have become one of those “look at us look at us” teams
  7. Well New Orleans is one of the S2 teams. I’d guess the rams are too.
  8. WR Tyler Scott WR Charlie Jones TE Zach Kuntz LB Ivan Pace Jr
  9. the johnson trade up stings a bit right now in the heat of the moment. still some reasonably competitive names at CB and TE.
  10. Yeah I will take that. Work him in from day 1 while Corbett recovers and see if he takes off.
  11. Think you’ll see more and more teams trade later picks to move up to the top of the 4th for one last chance at a starter caliber prospect. Happened with the first three picks.
  12. also the eagles just did that for attention
  13. good teams don’t get sucked into the “we want to take the players the media isn’t talking about” hysteria Notable guy like Ringo hanging around? yeah take him, don’t try to prove to the draft world you’re smarter than they are with a name they weren’t expecting
  14. yeah man so this may come as a shock to you but when hometown fans are kind of sour on a player it’s generally indicative of how said player played.
  15. Hey man how are those Bryce young takes holding up
  16. So..the Oregon Reddit has a number of commenters who are happy for him but really stunned he went as high as he did.
  17. Great to hear, the rest of us do keep up. Don’t worry we’ll keep you filled in on what’s going on elsewhere.
  18. you don’t draft a guy for next season, you draft them for the next 5. I get it. but when they’re there it’s hard to pass up, especially if the guy you’re taking is more of a project.
  19. okay then we’ve found your issue, your method of evaluation is bad. a great coach and great QB play, especially if you’re supplementing with outside talent, is going to win you a lot of games, but you still need to draft well at least occasionally, that has a little tiny measure of importance for peak and sustained success. you’re talking to someone who has a far more reasonable measure of what constitutes a successful draft class than most of this board who expects too much-even then the Seahawks haven’t done a good job of clearing the pole.
  20. Yeah I mean so can the rest of us. They’re clearly big on taking players with really high athletic scores and traits potential. That’s fine, if you can bring out the ability in these players…and we’re still waiting on that dam to burst. It’s early yet and it just may but it’s definitely a gamble, it’s certainly an approach I endorse more on day 3 than day 2.
