  1. Coach & QB aren't in the house, and until we have both, we won't have anything. Better make sure we don't think we're somehow "set" or feel comfortable with the rest, you need to keep fine tuning it & refining for the better, evolving with league trends, until we've got the 2 most important pieces in place.
  2. Gotta say, if Jake Haener has another great game or two, definitely think he needs to get back on radars. He was going into the year, looked awesome upsetting UCLA, then injured, now back and crushing it. Had a beautiful NFL level fade route on the money in the Friday UNLV game. He's really looking interesting to me. Young, 6'1 (but needs to fill out his frame), nice arm, really nice anticipation and quick with progressions. No glaring mechanical issues either. Just a bit light framed.
  3. I just want to see SOMETHING. I know UK has been shaky, has a run heavy offense, and a shaky OL (at times), but he just doesn't show anything during games. Good QBs, especially in college, can get these teams going with enough talent. I keep tuning in wanted to see anything of note and just continuously come away with nothing, just nada, zilch. Rodriguez also had a monster game and which should have been able to open things up for him.
  4. And down goes Kentucky. Welcome to the Outback Steakhouse Blooming Onion Bowl appearance and loss.
  5. True true, I forget about AR because I was automatically putting him in the 2024 draft pool. If he clicks with the passing game, honestly, the sky is the limit. Arm talent, athleticism, velocity, CAN be accurate. That's the type you just roll the dice with.
  6. Cam Ward and Penix both have higher ceilings than anyone past Young & Stroud...oh and won't be 24+ their rookie year.
  7. Yeah I won't lie, bought into those who hyped up Levis and at this point, he look as bad, maybe worse, than Van Dyke. Not to mention he's old so he doesn't have the liberty to learn, he needs to hit the ground running. Shows no intangibles...or really tangibles minus the zip.
  8. I fully support an all in approach: R1 if high up: Young or Stroud R1 if we're not ~pick 5-12: Trade up R1 if Young or Stroud can't happen: gamble on the highest remaining ceiling (Richardson or Levis?) ...and you don't stop there R3-4: Draft another QB R5-7: Draft another QB I dunno, just roll into 2023 with Bryce Young, Grayson McCall, Jake Haener, & Corral. Try everything. Do the RGIII-Cousins strategy and then some. Still land some DL and WR peppered between.
  9. Dude Walker totally ignores the protection calls from Bozeman. Jeeeez
  10. Next year, I'm sure 2024 will look super appealing around this time as well. Caleb's frame isn't far off from Young's and it's only like an inch difference between those two. Weird to hype him and diss Young in the same vein.
  11. Jake Haener is back and rocking. Keep an eye out there. He was a projected draftee, started fine, injury, and then came back with a force. Could be one to watch.
  12. Sensitivity levels are not needing to be gauged in spotting the fool.
  13. Between him and the bear guy it's almost as bad as me when I revert back into my goofy sax mode
  14. I preferred when he was a Carson Strong stan. He's literally the worst.
  15. "Herbert blows. If we pick him over some of these lineman, I'm done with this team" "Why on earth would you spend even a 4th on Hurts?? Stay away from that dude" "Burrow has small hands and came out of nowhere. Stay away" "Tua scares me, lefty, injury history" "Lamar is all college, has no translatable skills to being a competent NFL QB" Zach Wilson -- OMG DID YOU SEE THAT PASS AT HIS PRO DAY? GET HIM PRONTO
  16. There isn't a Sam Howell in this draft either There's no Carson Strong There also isn't a Colt McCoy Or Jake Locker Or Brian Hoyer Or Philip Rivers Or Eli Manning Or Rich Gannon Or Brian Griese Or Kirk Cousins Or Randy Fasani Or Stefon LeFors Or Mies Van Der Rohe Or Wassily Kandinsky Or Paul Klee
  17. Pretty much. It's not even a joke at this point, it legit happens every year. The cycle: 1-Class is hyped, people are excited. Top 2-4 look interesting 2-Online microscope season/ppl start convincing themselves no one is worthy 3-Start throwing out the idea of a 2nd-3rd rounder and going BPA 4-Get REALLY excited about the aforementioned 2nd-3rd, Small CH posse forms 5-That prospect sh*ts the bed, fizzles 6-Then looking to the following year being better 7-Cue the complaining about us not getting the very guys that were originally hyped and had nice rookie seasons -Rinse, repeat Last year was an aberration because the class was so bad, but this is an annual cycle
  18. Come Dec 2023... "Maye and Caleb just don't show enough, really think we should wait for 2024. This class just isn't doing it for me, 2024 is going to be lights out though, for real this time. And I mean it."
  19. I forgot they nicknamed themselves.
