  1. I bet he could figure out how to properly embed tweets on this forum.
  2. Yeah the Burns compensation when you factor in the Rams trade was two 2nds and two 5ths. Turned out quite well in the end, although obviously not as good as it could have been a year earlier.
  3. This is probably why TJ Tampa won't be the pick.
  4. Morgan said he's been picking BPA (not sure I believe that but whatever). He also said they want to come away with a corner today or find one after the draft. The BPA right now is a corner. So no, I wouldn't trade out of that pick.
  5. Training camp is roughly 8 months since the injury, so I don't see why he won't be there for that. 8-9 months seems the new norm with this type of injury recovery.
  6. Tampa is BPA and fills a need. That would be a great value pick. I'd like one of Tampa, Franklin or Sanders. Please just take BPA with this pick and don't trade down.
  7. At this point just take your guy. Moving down and getting a second rounder makes sense. Moving down for pick 157, a player that's likely off the roster in a year a two, is pointless.
  8. I mean there is. Seattle drafted Metcalf in the 2nd and gave him a $72m extension after year 3, before he got into the final year of his rookie deal. If they had drafted him in the 1st round he'd be getting that deal 1 year later and they'd be saving a ton of cap space.
  9. Yeah I know that. You were suggesting if he can play he'll get a deal before the 5th year (like Deonte Brown) making the 5th year not that important. My point is if he was a second rounder who can play they'd be looking to extend him before that 4th year. The 5th year option gives them at least one year extra having him on a rookie salary. For a potential WR1 that's at least $20m in cap savings.
