There's no point blaming the coach. This is probably the worst roster the league has seen since the expansion. There's not a player on the defense outside of Horn that would start for any of the other 31 teams.

Nobody is trading to 1 for those QBs or Travis Hunter.

We pretty much have no money invested in the WR group. Even less once Thielen is gone at the end of the season. We have a promising 1st round rookie and nothing much else beyond that under contract once the year is done. At some point you have to pay the money and keep what you have if the production justifies the outlay. What's the point in losing it in the hope we find something similar in the draft, just because it will save some money? The defense is in need of all the high draft picks and it's going to be hard to find someone as good as Johnson in the later rounds, so that leaves you signing JAGs in free agency with the likely outcome being a trashy WR group. With that being said I would absolutely trade him if he made it clear he won't stay around regardless of the deal on the table.

Ideal scenario is we keep Johnson and get him tied down to a long term deal. In his mind he's probably thinking if he keeps playing like he is a better team will offer him a similar deal, so why stay here. Chiefs have two 3rds in the 2025 draft so I could see them offering one of those for a WR from some team. Having said that I probably wouldn't trade him unless it was a 2nd or higher.

Feel for him with the amount of injury problems he has had in recent years. Probably played his last game as a Panther.

Brown and now Thompson out for the season. All our games are going to be shootouts.

What do you mean "winning games like this"?. It puts us at 1-2 for the season and back in the play-off hunt. Who knows where we end up if they play like this every week. You'd rather play rubbish and lose just to be able to play the game of chance that is drafting a franchise QB.

I would love to win this, but Dalton has put on enough of a show that I'd still be happy even with a loss. This is vindication for the coach and the GM. They have put together a roster able to compete if the QB gives them a chance.

I hope this is just to make it look like they're not desperate to move him on. The only way it makes sense to see him again is if Dalton is just as bad or gets injured. If Dalton performs like an average NFL QB bringing Bryce back will just highlight even more how rubbish he is.

While I agree he should've played in all those games it would've at most been a couple of series in each game. That's not going to make any real difference is it? Maybe his timing would be ever so slightly better, but he has been missing the same throws as he did last season. It's obviously a deeper issue than getting used to his surroundings/teammates.

A lot of the media coverage is garbage. Sure, slag off Tepper and the organisation all you want. They've made terrible decisions for the last 5 or 6 years and the roster is very bad because of it. Bryce Young's QB play is a completely separate issue. He's making basic mistakes, unable to make basic throws and just looks like a deer in the headlights. Having seen what I have in his first 18 games I'd be amazed if he ever turns out to be worthy of the no.1 pick. The game looks to be 2 times faster than his brain is comfortable with.

We need Dalton to come in and throw for 300 yards and two touchdowns in each of the next couple of games. Doesn't matter if we lose or get whooped, just having a functioning passing game will be enough to show how much Bryce has sucked.

It will be interesting to see if they pick up anyone from a practice squad to come in and be no.2 for the rest of the season. I can't imagine they'd want to be in a situation where Bryce has to play again were Dalton to get injured.
