We need a good look at Harrison JR. Gotta get Cam a legit weapon.

I like both players a lot but I think Stroud would be the better pick. He may not be where Young is mentally but it doesn't mean he's a slouch and that he can't grow to be as good or better at processing the field. Young looks great but he also looks like he's close to his peak. And his size could really be a serious problem if he gets injury prone. If Taylor Heinecke was 6-4 he would be a top 10 QB, but he's not and he gets hurt all the time.

Any word how he looked out there?

Would be crazy if the Ravens trade Lamar and end up kicking the tires on Cam.

Well he's better at it than Josh McCown was, and that dude is our QB coach now. Cam's mental side of the game has if anything, been underrated his entire career.

Agree. Plus it’s not like picks are guarantees. We might pick up a 2nd or a 3rd and they could be a bust.

Russell was boosted by his defense and HC. His game also ran on making bullshit plays. He hasn’t been so great when his luck has ran out.

He’s one of the better backs in the league and his abilities in the passing game will help ease our #1 pick into the league. By the time QB1 his second hits his stride Sanders should still be in his prime. I wanted us to keep Foreman but his style of play doesn’t typically have a long shelf life. We do need to add a bruiser though.

Damn I loved Foreman style. He also has underrated speed. Hopefully we can draft a solid compliment to Sanders.

Would be sad to see him go. He’s a stud RB and you don’t see his type all that often. Great compliment to Sanders theoretically.

If our coaches are as good as advertised then they should be able to scheme Shi, Shenault, and TMJ open. They aren’t polished WR but they have the athleticism to succeed.

Can multiple trades happen per selection or is it just one per pick ? It would be a total Panthers scenario where we trade to #2 with Houston, then some other team swoops in and trades with Houston to take our guy.

Why would Houston trade up if they know we have to take one of the QBs anyway. Their power move would be to stay put and force us to take Stroud with no additional compensation. They could just call our bluff. Who else is trying to move up to #1?

I thought it was a pretty fair trade. Also historically our second round picks haven’t been a guaranteed contributor so why not give the trade a shot.
