Dart and Daboll are an awesome fit Dart was someone I was hopeful we’d take a shot on in round 2 All the tools are there. I think Daboll will get the most out of him
-
some good news. Greg will call our game Sunday

Olsen will enjoy watching Jake Ferguson go for 200+ and 3 TD’s -
Ain’t trying to mock you but trying to tell you to have some awareness. Can’t exactly call something like the roaring riot cringey when… yah
-
Cool man Those names?
-
The people who sh!t on the roaring riot reek of jealousy. Which is never a good look LG got damn near 100k posts on a message board dying to share his life with anyone who’ll listen but calls something like the roaring riot “cringe”. Sad look.
-
Whatever fits your narrative I guess. until then do what you do best… deflect Or list all of the WR’s we’ve had since Young has been here and tell us what they’re all doing now
-
yeah clearly not the case … Remind me where all the WR’s are now that played Bryce with the first two seasons? And then this year we have Tremayne (PS guy) and Renfrow (cut) starting. Legette who is a massive bust. Coker who hasn’t played yet. And Tmac looks the part minus a drop or 2 each game but he’s also a rookie.
-
Yah gotta be RB or Tremble seemed like a slight delay and Tremble had locked in on other LB’er Now you’d think the RB would be responsible for LB coming up middle and it looks like ETN’s first step was to do so which would leave Tremble with the backer who had the free run
-
So even though Legette is a massive bust apparently that doesn’t matter because we invested a 1st rounder on him. Tough to argue with that type of logic. Our 100 million dollar guard out for the year. OL hasn’t been good this year. But again there’s a pattern developing here logic wise 3 different head coaches. 2 GM’s. 3 different play callers in 3 seasons. Yah that’s checks out and sounds like a good situation for a young QB Smart.

Yep just like Baker as well Bryce’s issues don’t often stem from him not seeing the game. Overall he’s reading the field just fine for a 24 year old 3rd year QB who is in a terrible situation Eventually he’ll get to a place where guys are actually schemed open, there’s speed around him, there aren’t constant breakdowns in protection and he’ll be just fine
-
I’m guessing he probably is too I doubt he needs the money. We weren’t winning the SB this year. So move back home and see a few snaps and call it a career It would have been nice to see what Bryce could’ve done with Tmac and Thielen. He’s never had 2 dependable targets on the field at the same time
-
His play style isn’t what’s needed and he’s slow to get off the time. Watching some of these all 22 clips and there’s once again a massive lack of speed on the field. 3rd year in a row I’ve said from day 1 Bryce needs route runners. He’s had one pure route runner and he turned Thielen into a 1000 yard receiver. At age 35. The Panthers drafted Young to be a “point guard” and proceeded to give him the exact opposite of what he’s needed. It would sure be nice to have a deep threat as well. Something Bryce had at Bama
-
Cam had no choice. Just like Bryce has no choice but to throw to whatever a brycen Tremayne is Ginn was a one trick pony and his strength played into Cams strength as a passer. It was a good fit. Much like Adam Thielen’s route running ability plays into Young’s strength which is anticipation Young turned a 35/36 Adam Thielen into a very productive WR again and now that he’s back in Minnesota he’s no where to be seen
-
I’d love to have a Ted Ginn type on this team People really need to stop bringing up Cam and thinking that’s the standard. Cam is 1/1. Generational talent.
-
It should tell you just how bad this situation is for a QB This guy wouldn’t be on any other teams active roster and he’s been our WR2 Then we have Renfrow who looks like ass. As Horn gets more run and Coker comes back Renfrow won’t see the field. Renfrow was cut for good reason before the season only to be thrusted in the starting lineup one week later

Where in that post did I compare Bryce to Brees?

lol seriously but this post is by far my favourite in this thread So true though

Official Week 5: Dolphins @ Panthers Gameday Thread
*FreeFua* replied to rodeo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah we’re going to have to sweep Saints for sure in order to get to 7 wins Must wins are Jets, Saints x2 then we’ll have to surprise someone like Dallas, Tampa at home maybe? Maybe we go win in Atlanta again but I doubt it The Jets are also probably looking at the game against us as their one real shot at not going 0-17 so there’s that -
Eh Canales is a problem Hell even Mark Schlereth kept saying just run it to the right. After Carolina cut the lead to 17-13 Canales called 3 runs on the following 3 drives
-
I was saying the same thing about Baker while he was here Like man, WE are the problem. Now granted I was also a big Baker believer when he was coming out of college but still our situation is still the same mess it has been since day 1 with Tepper
-
Situation matters most. I’ve always said Sam’s arm is as good as they come but his Achilles heel is that when the play breaks down he’s likely to do something stupid. Which is exactly what happened yesterday. Sam panicked didn’t reset and threw a horrible INT This was happening a lot in NY and Carolina where the situation was a mess and plays were constantly breaking down. Whether that be guys not lining up correctly, the OL allowing pressure too soon, ugly route concepts, guys not where they need to be, etc. Sam then goes to Minnesota and plays under a real damn good HC in KOC and looks like a legit QB. Fundamentally the system in Minnesota is solid and plays don’t often break down leaving Sam having to think on his own. We still saw that same old Sam in Minnesota when plays did break down but it wasn’t as often due to the situation being solid around him. It’s the same thing that’s still happening here. Bryce obviously has his physical limitations and that’ll forever limit his ceiling but I believe he can still be a good QB in this league in a proper situation. At this point it looks like Young’s Achilles heel is going to be fumbling which is super frustrating because a lot of these fumbles are preventable. However, it’s clearly not changing so I’m not so sure it ever will. That 4th down play from Bryce down 17-0 in 2nd was huge. The play breaks down immediately due to pressure and Bryce rolled out and bought enough time to find TMac. The touchdown pass to Legette was a legit. Then on that 4th down play to Jimmy. Bryce wanted that play called and he nailed it.
