  1. That's why I never saw an issue with them taking a QB. Sitting him and letting him develop like Love behind Rodgers. It's good for these guys to get some time to sit and learn.
  2. Where have you been? Center has been an issue since Ryan Kalil's neck injury. We haven't had a solid center in almost a decade. The IOL has been god awful. KC has the best IOL in football and they are all players that many of us were screaming to draft because we recognize how weak our IOL was. BY showed nothing other than 1 half of competent football against one of the worst defenses in the NFL last year. He was the worst starting QB in football last year. 33rd with only 32 teams. Someone's backup was better than our draft prodigy. Yes, Bryce needed real competition because he was benched 2 games into this season because anyone with eyes could see he wasn't ready to be an NFL starter. If you want to compete for something other than the 1st pick, you need real QB competition. A 2-15 team can't afford to draft an injured RB that's not going to contribute immediately. With holes all over the place, RB was a luxury the team couldn't afford. We have no pass rush, but we got Jerry Jones' guy. High 5's all around. BPA is OK but if the BPA is a RB 4 rounds in a row it doesn't make sense to take 4 RBs. You have to build a team that can compete. We're in serious contention for back to back 1st picks and Morgan had a hand in building both those teams. Has he made some good draft picks. It appears so. But when it comes to team building, that's a whole different story.
  3. If there's another QB that came to the combine after packing on 15 lbs of water weight to hide his playing weight, I don't remember it. I understand it's all part of the pre-draft game, and he participated. The FO was stupid and ignored huge red flags. On a side note though, I was at the airport a few weeks ago and saw a basketball team going through and decided to try and look through them. I'm 6'2 and these guys were 6'6 and up. I was amazed by how much I couldn't see around them. And these guys weren't 300 plus in pads. I still think he's having a hell of a time seeing the field at the NFL speed.
  4. It absolutely is on him for doing it and I'd wager he used a good bit of that psychology major to help him through interviews because he could read people better than most. The Panthers should have recognized it for what it was, hell, we all did, but you can't absolve him just because everyone else does it. 38 Million guaranteed.
  5. That and you can bet that big ass paycheck came with an ironclad NDA.
  6. I don't blame every last thing on BY, but at this point, my genuine concern is play whoever is best to develop our other talent on offense.
  7. How do you give a poo when you're hired to do a job and have your legs taken out from under you before you even have a chance? He wasn't even allowed to have his choice of tools to do his job. That's like asking me to replace a motor and handing me a hammer.
  8. Even before the draft, BY was supposed to have the highest floor but had the lowest ceiling of the top 3. Just turned out that Stroud's floor was higher than Young's ceiling from the start.
  9. Part of why I want to see Plummer play if/when BY is benched again. Let's see if he's backup material or not in a real game scenario. Who knows, maybe he balls out, most likely not. Either way, we evaluate and move on or he's our next backup QB. It's time this team got serious about the QB position.
  10. I guess breaking an NFL record just doesn't carry the same weight it used to.
  11. Kind of hard to give a poo when the owner cuts your balls off in front of the NFL on draft day. BY wasn't Frank's pick. Stroud was a far better fit for the type of offense Frank liked to run.
  12. I find what he's done less than impressive. We've got a historically bad defense, an offense that can barely average 2 tds a game, and a QB that wouldn't be on a practice squad after last season if he wasn't the 1st overall pick. The biggest issue I have is going into the season without bringing in competition for BY. As a former MLB, there is no way he looked at BYs footage and said this guy is so good he shouldn't have any camp competition, only to have him benched after 2 games. We dumped an insane amount of resources to answer a question this MB already knew the answer to, BY ain't it, and for what, 2 wins against terrible defenses? And the best he's looked so far came against a shitting of the bed so bad it literally set an NFL record. What we're seeing from this team is not good. Maybe we've gotten a few possible good pieces, but this overall team is not impressive in the slightest.
  13. He's not looking so bad these last couple drives.
  14. If/when BY puts up another stinker, I'd rather see Plummer. Dalton is what he is. Maybe Plummer plays better and shows he's worth keeping as a backup QB/flex starter. What do we have to lose at this point?
  15. Don't hate on the 300lb girl. No drama. No questions about what you're after. Probably knows more tricks than you've even heard of. Ain't no shame there bro.
  16. We're going to trade Horn, Brown and 2 1sts to go to 1 to draft Bo Callahan.
  17. We 2-7 and the only 2 times we've looked mildly competitive have been against 2 of the worst defenses in the NFL. He helped assemble this turd with his buddy Scott. I'll sing his praises when we actually have back to back winning seasons.
  18. I bet for BY to have under 200 yards passing and for the L. Had to admit I was a little worried but still broke even.
  19. No. So we'll claim the moral victories and they still won't matter. Just like every other feel good win when you're season was over before it began.
  20. It's possible Stroud will have had more wins in his first season then bryce will in his entire career
  21. We can't trade BY for anything less than a 1st because we still have to pay the 33rd pick for him. If we trade him for less than what we owe we're going to look like the laughing stock of the NFL. Oh wait...
