  1. threads like this make me worlds more optimistic this offseason than i was in February last year. there is some outstanding talent in both free agency and the draft that could make an immediate impact on the Panthers and push the team into final-four contention next season. Gettleman has earned my trust in the draft, and i never bought into the "Gettleman sucks in free agency" crap. he has been cash strapped. now he gets to flex some monetary muscle. the immediate future of the Panthers is so bright, i am already shaking with excitement for next season. perhaps i should temper my expectations for one more season, but things look like they are ripe for the Panthers to take that next step this offseason. Lehsgo Panthers! Keep Pounding!
  2. gotdamn. now that sounds like a fantastic trip. i wish i wasnt in school and could scrounge the money to go. RoaringRiot, this trip would cost more than the budget ive set to get me to four Panthers home games in 2015, but i am sure it would be worth it. i just cant spend that kind of money for one game right now. i would rather get $50 nosebleed seats in BoA for 4 games. That said, keep us in the loop about the annual "Invade The Georgia Dome" trip. thats something i can afford and ive wanted to go the past two years. you have my word that if yall go down to Atlanta this year, i will be with you, at least at the game.
  3. i did say that he should be a late-round pick. all the mocks ive done on fanspeak, ive taken him in round 5 or 6. there are certainly better options in the early rounds, but i believe Robinson could be a guy that could come in and fit scheme-wise, learn for a year or two, and at the very least serve as a quality back up or situational player.
  4. fortunately, this draft seems to be another deep one at OT. one late-round prospect i think the Panthers should give special attention to is Corey Robinson from USC. His draft profile says that he benefits from exceptional running backs and mobile QBs. guess what we have in Carolina? all his weaknesses seem to be teachable. plus, Robinson is a hometown boy. #GoGamecocks http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1737694/corey-robinson
  5. i guess she in love wit dat coco too...
  6. im glad we wont have to choose between the two.
  7. their demise is also imminent.
  8. haha that Atlanta franchise is falling apart. couldnt have happened to a better organization
  9. there are officially 3 jerseys i want to get. #1, #59, and now... #58. Keep Pounding TD. we need to get this man a ring and a statue...
  10. you know... i have to admit that my team was contending for its 4th Super Bowl, or 2nd as defending Champions, i would never get tired of the hoopla for the entire two weeks leading up to the Big Game. if it were the Panthers in the Super Bowl this year, you can bet your ass i would be reading every story and getting pumped up evermore every day.
  11. haha maybe. i doubt it though. most homeschool kids ive known (and ive known a good many) tend to be very shy, humble individuals. especially if they have siblings. though im sure there are a few here and there that are still complete jerks haha
  12. thanks? i dont necessarily try to be an exception to a rule PP. was just stating my thoughts just like you. for the record though, im not really an exception because there isnt really any rule.
  13. i consider myself a hardcore Christian, but i wouldnt waste money to see The Golden Calf of Bristol take a poo on the football field and call it QB play. i admire the guy for his resolve on moral issues, but he is a terrible QB and he isnt without his problems. i kinda have a problem with his ego. he wont humble himself and play a different position to meet a team's need. he is stuck on playing a position that he is no good at. we all have problems, i just think The Golden Calf of Bristol's ego is his. its sad too because he could make a legitimate NFL comeback if he would play TE or RB. but he just wont come down off his high horse and admit that he is a terrible QB. there has to be some sort of rule like that because i can still get seats on resale websites for the Steelers game in a few weeks, but Panthers.com says that its sold out.
  14. i was overall pleased with everyone not named pilares, barner, and godfrey. even the OL seemed to settle in and protect the QB better in the 4th quarter when we started moving the ball better. i am alittle concerned about the run game all the way around. but perhaps with DLo, Stewart, or Reaves in with our first string, it will be better on offense. idk what happened with our defense. that 2nd string run defense worries me... they will sub in alot for the firsts :/ however... i think this can be corrected by the start of the season. first teams played competitively and i am hopeful because of that
  15. pretty good protection on that last pass. may still salvage this drive
  16. so was that stuff on the OL or on barner? looks like barner just got stuffed despite a pretty good set up that time
  17. God barner gets stuffed every fuggin time he touches the ball...
