  1. Dalton is having horrible game. But all this falls in the hand of the genius head coach playing people due to their contracts instead of what's happening on the field. Wonder if this is Tepper pulling the strings somehow.
  2. Look at Bill's putting the ball in the hands of their best players. I'm about to sour on Dave Caneles with this rotational B.S.
  3. Oh great the 3rd leading rusher in the league on the bench as we go 3 and out. Because you know "team captian", "locker room guy".
  4. Not so much Panther related but it is our opponent this week Nick Wright laid out an interesting stat and said no coach and qb combination that's ever gone to a superbowl has done so after 5 years of teaming up and never doing it, this is McDermott and Allen 8th season together, Lamar and Harbaugh also have been together longer than 5 and never gone. Cam and Rivera got there in exactly 5 years. That's an interesting stat.
  5. Hendon was a 3rd pick on a team with an establish starter and superbowl aspirations, they chose to go with veteran Kyle Allen as primary backup. Darnold and Mayfield where high draft picks whose teams they were drafted to decided to part ways with them it happens. If Byrce get dropped by the Panthers you think teams are going to be knocking down the doors for his service? He may end up on a practice squad as well. So yea Dalton is playing today and if something happens in the course of the game Hendon will be taking snaps so yea the jury is still out on his potential.
  6. Fields is bad Qb but when it comes to running the ball he's one of the best from that position, so that's not surprising. Bills are not playing complimentary football right now no matter how good Allen can be.
  7. True. But I think Panthers defense has done a good job the last few weeks of slowing running backs down and they've played some tough ones. So if we limit Cook it will be dependent on Allen to put in his super man cape, but then again the Panthers have the ability to just run it and play keep away, should be a good game. I have a feeling it's going to play out with Buffalo looking like paper tigers and lose 3 in a row.
  8. Anthony Richardson has been plagued by injuries and what does his play have to do with Hendon. Richardson was a combine warrior his passing stats in college never showed elite he was drafted on potential. Hendon was an elite passer in college and is near the top of all time Tennessee passing stats. The jury is still out on what Hooker ability at this level is.
  9. Coaching they have clear advantage. Roster depth I dont think they are much better than the Panthers. Cam was MVP level player but one man can't do it alone. Buffalo receivers have been underwhelming. Baltimore was their best win in the 1st week and they got gashed in the run game. The two decent teams faced NE and Atlanta they lost. Had a struggle at home against the 1 win Saints. They appear to be paper tigers.
  10. Hendon has a stronger arm than Bryce and more mobile. I doubt the separation if any is as dramatic as that.
  11. The Panthers are going to win this game today. Outside Josh Allen I dont see where Buffalo has a clear advantage. Their defense has been porous against the run, their safety play hasn't been good, they're starting Poyer today who was on their practice squad. I dont think they have the receivers capable of beating Horn and Jackson on the outside, it just depends on how Evero calls the game if we just sit back in zone and let Allen work it could be a long day but I think he should test whether they have the horses to win 1:1 matchups. Offensively the Panthers need to run, run, preferably alot of Dowdle with Andy taking his playaction shots when available. I think the Panthers dominate this contest decidedly.
  12. You think a big man moving that fast has the ability and coordination to do that on purpose? Aim his cleats on the calf of man half his size moving at full speed.
  13. I agree on the RB position being the easiest to find value. I was just noting the production of Kamara and CMC one was obviously in a better offensive system when drafted.
  14. To be fair we don't know how Mccaffrey would have looked had he been drafted by the Saints with Sean Peyton and Drew Brees Nor how Kamara would have looked with Mike Shula.
  15. Speed kills. That's what Detroit has going on with their offense. Jimmy Horn Jr provides that type of speed for the Panthers we need that element in the gameplan.
  16. This is also true. Darnold was showing improvement miraculously under Wilkes those last few games of the season when he was inserted back as the starter. I think Mayfield just wanted out of Carolina and was checked out he looks nothing like did when he was here.
  17. You lost me Edit: Oh are the Panthers the glass house lol
  18. Remember him from a few seasons ago, lively arm and mobile. No qb has been successful with the Jets so you can't hold that against him.
  19. If there was ever a game to get behind that offensive line and the run the rock with Rico it's this game. Only one team has been worst than Buffalo at stopping the run this season and that's Miami and we saw what happened in that game with Dowdle. Buffalo of course has one of the most dynamic offenses so the more time we can keep that offense off the field the better, sustaining drives will be crucial. Atlanta had their way with Buffalo in their last game that score could have easily been 28-7 at the half. With that said with an improved vertical passing attack and emphasis on the run game Carolina pulls the upset 24-17
  20. Good for him. I never thought he was a bad play caller but whom ever decision it was between him and Rhule to Jettison Bridgewater after 1 season with an offense that performed above expectations is one of the reasons why they are both collecting paychecks in other places.
  21. Yeah and somehow his next career journeyman got him fired the very next season. Robby never came close to a 1000 yards in his career after that, neither did Samuel. Moore was the only one able to duplicate his numbers in following seasons.
  22. Brady didn't lose his job because of Teddy what kind of revisionist history is this. After that 2020 season they were calling that man a offensive guru how he had a terrible Panther's team offense cooking. Robby Anderson had 95 catches for 1,096 yards career highs for him DJ Moore had 66 catches and 1193 yards with a career high of 18.1 yards a catch he's never came anywhere near that YPC total again. Curtis Samuel had 77 catches and 851 yards again career highs for him. In the history of the franchise never has it's 3 top receivers amass that many yards collectively Yall just create narratives that's just not true for people who actually watch the games and know the history of this franchise.
  23. Lol Brady who lost his job the very next season after Teddy was gone. Went from the talk of the NFL world "young guru" to unemployed. The only time that offensive roster looked like it's potential was when Teddy was operating it and unfortunately he didn't have CMC for the year or who knows how it would have looked then. The only other time it looked explosive was with PJ Walker but the Camsters had to ruin that lol.
  24. Teddy didn't play with CMC all of what 1 game? The Robby Anderson? The Curtis Samuel? Who most Panthers fans couldn't wait to run out of town? Neither of those guys were nearly as effective with Darnold throwing them the ball and their stats reflected it.
