  1. I could see 11-12 wins easily if we stay fully healthy and Mayfield and the line prove to be the real deal. That’s probably our ceiling in a perfect situation. Agree our floor is less
  2. Got invited to the US Open Men's Finals next Sunday right at 1pm and it's too good an offer to pass up despite conflicting with my favorite weekend pastime. So I gotta avoid the score until later when I can watch the game on repeat. I'm in the Boston area so can't just record it as I watch the games with the online sunday ticket and that only offers live. I think in the past NFL Gamepass provided replays but that is gone now. Does NFL+ offer regular season game replays and if so does anyone know how quickly they'll be put up? Ideally I'd like to watch it that night as I'm sure people at work on Monday would intentionally or unintentionally fug with me with the score... Any other possibilities or tips?
  3. Although if Hurney had his way in 2020 we may have Herbert right now… word was he wanted to trade up for him. At the time I hated that idea but in hindsight it would’ve been franchise changing
  4. Arians has his issues but he has had a lot of success out of Tampa too. If not for us being dominant for 17 games in 2015 he probably brings AZ to the Super Bowl. Also was great for the Colts when filling in for the HC who had cancer. I don't like the guy but there's no denying he knows the game very well. He's also never had below 7 wins in a season in 9 years as a HC. Rhule has 5 wins in 2 straight seasons. I'm not giving up on Rhule like others quite yet, but I do think you need at least an adequate HC to have success in this league. There's just so much that goes into it, ability to adjust midgame is so important, etc. Maybe you can get around that with a HoF talent at QB but otherwise I don't think so
  5. Looking at overthecap for next year it really doesn't look to be an issue at all. Several guys whose contracts are easily restructured/extended to bring down the cap hit next year. Other guys (Robbie, Elflein) who are easy to cut for big cap savings. Then in 2024 with the majority of our core still under contract we have $120M in cap space. Plus as it stands right now we'll carry over about $13M next year so will only be $7M over to start the offseason. Extending Burns alone could get us to about $5M in cap space easily.
  6. Is that it? Dude is an elite superstar scorer, how does he command that much less than Rudy friggin Gobert
  7. is it just me or does he not look all that much bigger than TMJ in this picture?
  8. Don't forget the food and beverage, the TopCats and Sir Purr. Oh and a DJ! Seriously, for that price you should at least get a happy ending from one of the cheerleaders... Although the way Tep runs the team it'd probably be from one of the dudes
  9. Teams put way too many bells and whistles around the game these days it's just silly. The only "experience" I care to see is my team kicking ass on the field. Everything else takes away from the experience, in my opinion. Greedy motherfuger but if there are suckers out there who will pay for this then I can't really blame Tep.
  10. Fine with me, I don’t care about other teams’ scraps anyways.
  11. @SCP @PhillyB @Zod all have had some epic pre-game trash talk threads. The huddle has really been missing those. Need some other creative folks to take up the mantle. I’d give it a go but wouldn’t do them justice.
  12. Completely agree. And Bell even stuck around the league for another 4 years across 3 teams while starting multiple games in multiple seasons after he left here. My point is, while Daley is not good and it's nice to get something for him, many teams have worse on the end of their roster than him. Him being on the roster for the last 3 years just isn't an issue. It could've been much worse, and is much worse for plenty of other teams. I'm glad we're finally looking to have a rock solid starting OL AND better depth such that Daley is expendable for us, but that doesn't mean Daley isn't a valuable player on a 6th round rookie scale contract. Obviously he is considering what we got for him. People can tell themselves that Fitts "swindled" the Titans on this deal, but I disagree -- the trade was just fair value. Fortunately we are in a position with the OL where we can make this move and have it be a positive since Daley may not have made our roster anyways. Just good business all around from our front office.
  13. There are plenty of worse 8/9 OL around the league. It's embarrassing that we had him starting so many games and not due to a ton of injuries, but having him on a roster is not a problem. He's better than Bell and Chandler ever were and those guys were our plan A at OT one year...
  14. Did a single one of these rookie QBs play any snaps against other team's starters? From my following from afar, I believe the answer to that is no but please correct me if I'm wrong.
  15. Wasn't really that bad for a 6th round pick... Large large majority of those picks are out of the league by now. He has value as an end of the roster lineman, clearly, considering we got a better pick than we drafted him with anyways.
  16. lol, it's unlikely Corral amounts to much but I won't read into the other guys' preseason performances at all. I really think this draft for QBs is going to wind up like 2013's without a single good long term starter coming out of it. Maybe Pickett, just because he's in a great situation, but I think his upside is more Chiefs Alex Smith and not better than that. Willis maybe but he's a longshot. The other guys I highly doubt ever become more than backups. It was a rough draft to need a QB.
  17. Highly paid? He's the 23rd highest paid kicker... But yeah he was really solid last year and would be a huge loss if he misses any time. So fuged up
  18. That was a delay of game uncalled but whatever. CJ played it very well, impressive job by the WR holding on/
  19. I think Robbie will be 2nd in snaps amongst wideouts but definitely can see Shi earning Baker's trust over RA and getting more targets/catches. Shi has had a phenomenal offseason but Robbie is likely still ahead of him at least to start the season.
  20. Yes it's against backups but we're much better against backups than the Pats were against our backups. Definitely encouraging.
  21. Get Foreman in there what the hell is Chuba doing
