Not sure but either way it's still pretty low risk/just delaying the decision on him a year

The 5th year option is guaranteed for injury only, so unless he gets hurt he can still be released/traded with no cap implications. Not really that much risk there. But barring a true breakout year next year, if Bryce is starting for us in his 5th year I will be extremely disappointed with this team. His limitations are just way too significant to overcome in the NFL.

If this front office signs him to a long term extension I'm fuging done with this team until Tepper and his band of morons are gone. That would absolutely sink us.

Main silver lining here, kid is legit. With consistently good QB play and Tet taking defenses attention away, a healthy Coker could put up 12-1300 yards next year. Will be awfully tough to do though if Bryce is back and plays the same as he has up to this point in his career, which sadly seems very likely -

Canales and Eviro absolutely blew this game for us. You have to fuging call timeouts when they’re moving the ball at will at the end there. We have 3 still and they are all fuging useless and meaningless. We should’ve used them on D to stop the clock in case they scored like they did and to give the D time to reset and rest vs the hurry up.
