  1. Would have liked him here and he got a reasonable deal, but oh well. No big deal. Agholor please.
  2. I don't believe that he lied. I think he just wasn't cooperating with the NFL to the degree they wanted him too. Goodell's making up bullshit so the public thinks he's a saint.
  3. Bruises and marks could be consistent with restraint by him or his friend if she was hitting him with her heel, as well as his testimony that she was intentionally hurting herself and freaking out - which is completely reasonable for someone on cocaine. The judge found him guilty by default. If there was actually evidence of Hardy having hit her, they wouldn't have tossed out the jury trial. The NFL does as they please and what the public wants. They don't care about what's right. If this had happened 2 years ago they would've done nothing at all--as they initially did until the Rice tape came out.
  4. You saw him do it? Hmm... Didn't see you testify at the trial.
  5. Nope, can't even be in team meetings or anything. Not supposed to be at facility at all but that may have changed since Gordon supposedly worked out there all last year while suspended. But nothing at all with the team.
  6. He could be in football shape but I don't think he'll be up to date with the defense or meshing well. Won't be a huge factor that game. Will help them big time if they get to the playoffs though.
  7. He'll be really rusty against us though.

  9. I would for Blackmon but not Gordon at this point. Gordon has been caught like 4 or 5 different times now and has made excuses the 2 most recent times. Seems like he'll never truly get it. Blackmon was caught twice and has been out since the 2nd one but hasn't done anything wrong since and went to rehab which supposedly went well. He's also eligible for reinstatement I believe.
  10. Still think it would be worth it to trade a late rounder for Blackmon.
  11. A big shocker: We get the first Sunday Night Football game against the Colts.
  12. I really don't care about some media scouting report. The game film shows everything anyone would need to know. Orton isn't much worse than Eli and if you can't see that then I don't know what to tell you. His career QBR is 81.2 and Eli's is 82.4. Pro bowls are a popularity contest.Sure that's a stat but until you find me a source showing me that OBJ was the worst then it means nothing.
  13. That in bold is the most outrageous statement I've read in a while on here. Beckham was the only WR in the draft last year who was an elite route runner in the entire route tree. The explosiveness I'll give you, that's debatable since it's close, but Beckham's hands, routes, focus, jump ball skills, tracking skills, body control and agility were all miles ahead of Watkins, and still are. The guy has unreal talent and isn't lacking in any aspect of the game (except height but he jumps high like Smitty and has amazing jump ball skills for his height). Cruz was only healthy for 2 games that Beckham played in and was hurt in the 2nd so he missed most of that. All of Beckham's production was when he was the only threat. Cruz wasn't taking any pressure off of him at all. Of course he force fed him, because he was wide open all the time and he had a 70% catch rate despite Eli's mediocre accuracy (Randall Cobb's was 72% with Rodgers' pin-point accuracy), that doesn't take away from his game at all. Watkins was "force fed" as well, he had just 4 less targets than Beckham and 26 less receptions. And you have no clue what you're talking about, Beckham didn't "almost lead the league in interceptions when targeted." That's some bullsh*t you're trying to make up to support your argument. As for Eli he is one of the most inconsistent passers in the league, pro bowls or not. Vince Young was a pro bowl QB too. His Super Bowl MVPs are irrelevant to the discussion as well. It's nice to not know much huh?
  14. He was drafted ahead based on potential because of his size and speed. His route running and explosiveness was (and still is) nowhere near Beckham's. And while his hands weren't/aren't bad, Beckham's were the best in the draft. Of course Beckham was a much better prospect and that's shown by how each performed their rookie year. And don't even start on how good each rookie WR's "situation" was. Beckham's stats were not a product of some "great situation." He was thrust into the #1 WR role after Cruz' injury and was the sole threat on that offense, drawing double coverage every snap. If you watched the film of him and other WRs, you'd see that Beckham had a truly elite year. I hesitate to call him elite because of the small sample size, but last year was no fluke. Beckham excels in all the different aspects of being a WR. A pro bowl QB who had a 57.5% completion percentage, 6.9 yards per attempt, 18 to 27 TD to INT ratio the year before...
  15. Watkins was never more explosive or better at route running, and his hands were not as good. How was his situation any worse than Beckham's? Or Evans'?
  16. I don't agree with JJ that DG thinks it's our #1 need. OT is our #1 need first and foremost. That could possibly not be the case depending on Oher and Martin but since they're unknown it's our #1 need. DE is definitely our #2 need in my opinion. Roman played solid enough down the stretch when the other pieces were all in place that, while SS is a need, it's not a priority. And WR2 in our offense just isn't super important compared to how important DE is in Rivera's system. I would be shocked if we don't draft a DE in the first 3 rounds.
