    Correct. I think the poster meant he is a fellow Latino. That is a cool aspect of this hire. Coach Canales seems to take that to heart and cherish his role as someone who can be a role model in that regard.

    Listen to Bucs media and players and you’ll feel pretty good about the hire. Canales has some elite traits in communication, motivation, and attention to detail according to them.

    I feel you man, but remember that many of the most successful coaches were not "homerun" hires.

    Really disappointed the Panthers never tried to go after Harbaugh either of the last 2 years.

    I heard him called a non-stoner Mike McDonald. Brilliant mind and very personable. I’m very intrigued. What he did to the Browns defense was impressive. That said, I don’t understand the lack of interest in Harbaugh, other than Tepper being an idiot.

    Exactly. He gave Rhule too much breathing room. He has to find the right balance, but most importantly the right coach.

    Agree with this. The Ravens DC is intriguing, but he would have to beat out Evero in my mind if your first 3 turn us down. Also, it’ll blow my mind if we don’t interview Harbaugh.
