  1. I know he does not fit the mold of what Tepper wants this year, but he would be near the top of my list. The guy is very impressive and will excel when he gets his shot.
  2. Rooney Rule interviews must be in-person.
  3. I’d be willing to bet we will get first shot to sign him. The ATL coaches may not make it past another year.
  4. Did you read the Athletic article about Evero, Scott? Dude is going to be a stud. We may look back in 5-10 years and wish he would have been the hire. Heck, maybe he rocks the interview and makes Tepper consider it now.
  5. No need to fire Wilks to hire Reich. If that is the case, just hire Reich as OC.
  6. Some the local guys are saying Reich and some of the national folks are saying Payton. Guess we will see.
  7. I was nervous about Johnson. Just not much of a resume. Steichen has a better one IMO, though not by a ton.
  8. Definitely could be posturing on the part of Payton.
  9. I think Fitts would be retained. He just would not have the typical GM power.
  10. That's who I wanted as Panthers OC had Wilks been retained.
  11. It made my mind up. 3 TDs on 3 go routes from the same player
  12. Probably for the best. He doesn’t seem to excel in the relationship department.
  13. He was talking about the Panthers. Whether he is using it for leverage, who knows. Heck, the Panthers may be using him for his ideas about what would work for us.
  14. Same here. It was a dream getting an NFL franchise in 1995. Bought Panthers gear and wore it proudly since before they took their first snap. As long as they are in Charlotte, I’m a fan. Doesn’t mean they don’t piss me off and make me sit out a few games at times.
  15. you better plead the 5th if your answer is not the Cowboys…for your own safety. lol
  16. Eli Apple is the Bengals' best DB?
  17. I don't think Tepper is willing to give up what it would take to get Payton. I think this interview is to do their due diligence and to get Payton's thoughts on how to improve the organization.
