I just keep remembering Tepper during Rhules intro presser when he got hired. He kept saying Hurney was adamant they gotta here Rhule. That they couldn’t leave Rhules house or wherever they were, without hiring him. That was Tepperes mistake, trusting Hurney on this hire. Tepper needs to listen to smarter football ppl next time if he wants to get this right.

Rhule fleeced Marty and Tepper so bad.

Their OL, arguably, is the best in the league. It also helps to have Bill.

I think I misread, the quote was a “heavy running game” meaning run the ball a lot. Not necessarily up the middle 30 times.

I’d like to see Horn play more than 2.5 games before I say we shouldn’t have drafted him. Yes, not taking Slater sucks, but Horn could turn out to be great.

Random, but sort of related to coaching. Luvu should be a starting LB. every time that guy is in the game he is around the ball making plays or causing turnovers. Dude is everywhere.

I hear you. My thing is, Cam was so great, that this wouldn’t have slowed him down much a few years ago. Granted he’s older now and with a new team and system so I expected a hiccup here and there, but we see he’s mortal now. This team is cheeks. Big cheeks. He can’t do it all by himself anymore and that’s ok, the rest of the team has to get their ish together. Il ride or die with cam any day if I haven’t made that clear.

Oh I know the rest of the team was bad too and they certainly didn’t help him at all.

Same. It sucks, but he’s fallen off. I know he just got signed, but this was bad. I hope he proves me wrong the rest of the year, but there is nothing wrong with saying he was poop today.

I agree. As much as I want him gone, his contract is too long and too much, he will get at least one more year. I said it earlier, Tepper sent out letters to psl owners asking for patiences and rebuilds take time, I can’t see him firing Rhule after two years.

Way better coaching staff, way better team. They spent like 160 mil on FAs in the offseason.

I mean I’m fine with sitting cam, no point in getting him killed an all that. But we had to sit here and watch Sam be terrible and nothing happen.
