  1. How in the world would he have orchestrated the NFL mishandling the Ray Rice incident? That's the reason why he sat out the season, not his own trial. So it would take Ray Rice, Janay Rice, Roger Goodell, Nicole Holder, her friend, and the media all working together. Not plausible at all.
  2. Beat me to it. Disregard previous post.
  3. This was separate from the civil suit. Plus, that kind of stuff happens all the time for various reasons having nothing to do with guilt or innocence.
  4. Wonder if we'll hear so much as a peep from Ashley Fox and Bob Costas.
  5. Kinda sucks since I'm fairly confident Greg would have been found innocent. I'm sure she just took off knowing the whole country would have found out she was a fraud at the trial.
  6. I hope we can bring in solid competition through draft and FA for both Tackle spots, so wouldn't mind either. Remmers did well for us, but I'm not a fan of handing him the job with no competition.
  7. These kinds of contests always end up like this, not surprised at all with the progression to paying for likes.
  8. "So often in my career, I've been the guy that came up just short." So heartbreaking to hear from such an incredible man and player. Whether it was comeback player of the year, pro bowls, or last year's Walter Payton, I think most Panthers fans understand exactly what he's saying. It's great to see this man recognized, and he's the type of guy that should be rewarded. Huddle needs to get this man into a pro bowl next year, and it falls on us as Panthers fans because we know a 4-3 OLB isn't going to get votes outside the fanbase over the 3-4 pass rushers...even if he is the best coverage LB in the game.
  9. I'm more tired of hearing about deflated footballs than anything. Besides, I've only ever really cared about 1 Super Bowl...so far.
  10. Today I dreamed a dream: Your score is: 4764 (GRADE: A-) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 32 (SEA): Ereck Flowers, OT, Miami (Fla.) (A-) Round 2 Pick 25: Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia (A) Round 2 Pick 29 (IND): Jake Fisher, OT, Oregon (B-) Round 2 Pick 32 (SEA): Anthony Harris, SS, Virginia (A) Round 3 Pick 25: Tyler Lockett, WR, Kansas State (A) Round 4 Pick 25: Kwon Alexander, OLB, LSU (A-) Round 5 Pick 25: Eric Rowe, CB, Utah (A) Round 6 Pick 25: Anthony Chickillo, DE, Miami (Fla.) © Round 7 Pick 25: Devante Davis, WR, UNLV (B+)
  11. I think we need to come out of this with at least 2 legit Tackle prospects. But then, I said that last year too...
  12. I think his value will have risen considerably by the time the draft gets here. This early last year, OBJ was projected as a 2nd-3rd round pick. We might have to take him in the 2nd if we want him.
  13. Btw, it's just a foot, can't he just tape that poo nice and tight, take a shot, and be good? Only half joking.
  14. Guess that means Frank will be active for sure, but I'd rather have Star. This is one of the biggest blows we could have taken going into this type of game.
  15. I get this, but here's my problem: Let's say you're able to quantify impact in terms of games won. The Tackle may be considered just pretty good compared to his peers at his position and make the team 3 games better, while the Safety could be considered much more highly among his peers at his position and make the team 2 games better. Wouldn't you rather have the Tackle? The Tackle also protects the most valuable single player on the team, while the Safety still relies heavily on the players in front of him. If you have to take the guy in the first round to get him, then he's a first round prospect. People were ripping on some of the Cowboys' picks the past few years, but look how that line turned out because they invested first-round picks and said to hell with the talking heads.
