I don’t even care. A lot of people sucked yesterday, I know that much. And yet, we still had a chance to get the ball back with good field position and plenty of time, and our “pro bowl” corner grabbed a face mask for no fugging reason on 3rd down 15 yards away from the sticks when a light shove ob was all that was needed. And then post-game he’s laughing and saying JSN “sold it”. Dude does not get it and does not care. Fugging double agent son of a Saint. I don’t care if they bench him for that, tbh. Unforgivable.

Make Jaycee drive the whole way, too. No radio, just silence.

There wasn’t zero chance, and that’s the problem. Was there a good chance? Certainly not. But you’re teaching your team to give up when they THINK something is UNLIKELY. That’s not Panthers football. That’s not Keep Pounding. It is also an even bigger problem because much of the head coach’s messaging revolves around finishing, how you finish, etc. He just lost his message with that move.

Pretty sure we just ended our season when we started taking knees at 2 minutes. You can’t preach to your team “it’s about how you finish” etc. and then do that. You can’t say Keep Pounding and have players bang the drum and then do that. The message is gone now. There’s nothing behind it. And where one crack forms more follow. You could have recovered from dumb penalties, poor play, etc. You can’t recover from giving up when there’s still a chance.

The Keep Pounding mentality is, in fact, still dead.
