  1. I like Kincaid the best if we’re looking for a pass catcher. Washington is the best blocker.
  2. What if some jackass runs a red light and tbones me on the way to work?
  3. If we had some fat college donkey and his college coaching staff I’d be more worried about that. This coaching staff in this division won’t be picking in the t10 even if we roll with Darnold for another year, and the 2 QBs everybody wants are going top 3-5 unless they have terrible seasons and turn into pumpkins in which case we won’t want them anyways.
  4. Will “Kunkel”? More like Will “Not My Uncle” so don’t touch me there. Am I right?
  5. I know you guys won’t believe me, but I’ve got a feeling the Bears might be interested in trading the #1 pick. You heard it here first.
  6. Only interested if the Bears swap with Texans and stay at 2.
  7. I really just want Young or Stroud, would be happy with either. I’m a bit higher on Young but Stroud has a lot to like too. Wouldn’t want to trade up for Richardson but if he’s there at 9 sure.
  8. I was trying to read why they included Lamar Jackson without making a snarky comment about “free agents”, but the pop up demanding I sign up for their website is cancer.
  9. Or maybe he’s an oft injured QB who has never come close to duplicating his MVP performance and wants a record breaking and risky (especially for an oft injured QB) contract. And on top of that a team has to give up 2 first round picks. But collusion gets more clicks.
  10. That was a 7 year contract. I think he got like 8mil/yr. I doubt Lamar would be too happy with that.
  11. I said “hard pass” I don’t know how that is not admitting I don’t want him. Also, seems like pretty much the whole NFL agrees with me.
  12. He was an MVP 4 years ago and he’s pretty much performed worse in every statistical category each year since then and hasn’t played a full season since 2020. I don’t really get the narrative. Hard pass on trading 2 firsts plus the contract. I’d be down for signing him to the right deal if he were a free agent, but he’s not.
  13. Even if you could say for certain that he has more risk of injury on a hit by hit basis, his ability to take less hits and less big hits isn’t something you can ignore. Let’s say he takes one “significant” hit every 50 hits, and some 6’3 QB takes one “significant” hit every 25 hits. And let’s say for the sake of the example that Young gets injured on every “significant” hit, while the other QB gets injured for every 2 “significant” hits. Well then they get injured exactly the same amount. But then what if the 6’3 QB also takes twice as many hits. Well then all of a sudden the 6’3 QB is more likely to get injured. These are obviously all made up numbers, but it’s just to illustrate that it is possible to have a skill set that reduces risk of injury, and Bryce has that skill set without question. It’s just a matter of does the skill set make up for the size. I think it’s closer to a wash with these other QBs than some people think. And just for note, I was on the “don’t want Young because of his size” train until just a couple weeks ago when I really started watching him and learning about him. What I see is a skill set that offsets the size concern and then you get all his other elite attributes on top of that. I was hoping he would come in more in the 5’11-6ft range at the combine, but nobody was surprised at the 5’10.
  14. Yeah I’m not a huge fan of trading to 3 pre draft, but if Young or Stroud somehow make it to 3 on draft day I’m all for it.
  15. That was exactly my point. The Saints weren’t a suitor, so him signing immediately with the Saints was a bad thing for the Panthers. While Carr was available, the Bears risked losing suitors the longer they held onto the pick.
  16. Ok you’re right nothing matters it’s all set in stone already and Bears GM mentioning Carr by name and talking about teams trying to get resolution on the trade because of the availability of him and other options means nothing
  17. I mean yeah you have your max but you try not to spend it if you don’t have to. Carr signing with Saints gives Bears leverage to play hard ball because the threat of losing suitors as time goes on lessens.
  18. Well that increases Bears leverage. Saints always find a way to fug us.
  19. I didn’t read it as 3 teams offered ‘24 and ‘25 firsts, just that they spoke to 3 teams and at least one team offered that.
