Scott Fitterer: We want Sam Darnold to just flush what's happened
GoobyPls replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bell had over 600 receiving yards and 100 targets, how is he not a receiving back? Perriman only started 4 games in Tampa opposed to 12 in NY he had over 600 yards. Flacco literally beats Darnold in almost every stat per game you do know that right? the two wins Darnold got was cause the defense held the opposing team to 20 or under and forced multiple turnovers. Jets won those two games in spite of Darnold. Lol Olsen was literally on his last leg and Samuel and Moore were not starting until Cam got hurt. The three starters were Torrey Smith, Funchess and Wright. I would take the jets trio over those 3 in a heartbeat. Mims alone has more potential. You keep bringing up Gase forgetting Darnold also sucked with Bowles. But let me guess it’s Bowles fault -

Bell is a receiving back that correlates with the QB. Do you realize the jets offense played better with a washed up Flacco? Perriman, Mims and Crowder would have been the best WR core Cam has ever had. That is not a terrible trio like the narrative you and every apologist is trying to paint. People like to crap on Teddy but he at least knew how to use Robby. -

Anderson was good in NY before Darnold arrived, Crowder was coming off a career year, Mims showed a lot of potential when Flacco played. Darnold was holding those guys back for the most part. If Flacco played all of last season the jets offense would have been much better. -

They are really pushing the Darnold victim storyline lol. The jets actually had some decent weapons in Bell, Crowder, Robby, Mims. All which got worse with Darnold. -
7 is above average

All aboard the Tommy Tremble bandwagon

Reminds me of the way they talked about Ian Thomas -
Round 2 - Carolina Panthers select LSU WR Terrace Marshall

He’s a good receivers surprised he lasted that long. -
Every fuking time commercials before our pick
-
I said “after the third round”. Go look up that article breaking it down. 80% of all starters are drafted in the first 3 rounds, and the first two round make the real majority of long term starters and pro bowl caliber players
-
I hate trading down, any pick after the third round is a crapshoot

Practice squad filler

Like most thread stated Tepper was the one pushing for a QB
-
Yep they were, Tepper wanted him like my post indicated
-
Gross. Looks like we overpaid another mediocre QB Im already on the Sam Howell/Matt Corral watch. We will probably have to give 2 first to move up

This Defense Better Be Elite

Corners have the hardest transition behind QBs, so I doubt Horn is anything special next season. -
Round 1 - Carolina Panthers Select CB Jaycee Horn
GoobyPls replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
The panthers fans in the crowd reaction summed up the pick. Lol CB was our biggest need, but Darnold sucks -
Dudes always wrong lol. Go look at his post history
-
This has Tepper for QB written all over it
-
Yep and he are ahead of them. Two of the most connected people in the league has us (Breer and King) taking Fields, people inside our organization think Fields is a generation talent And Vegas had us tied for favorites We get it you want an o-linemen, you like Darnold, but sorry to break it to you as of right now all the signs are pointing to Fields.
-
After the Teddy trade I think we are the clear favorites.

Rhule has become the king of coach speak when it comes to QB. First it was he was excited to play with Cam, then Will Grier being the most pro ready QB ever, followed by Teddy now Sam. All I know is that Darnold was plan F after not signing Trubisky or Haskins or being able to trade for Stanford or Watson.

If it was up to Simms Field wouldn’t even go on the first round. Trubisky has good physical tools
