The last paragraph that you said is what I’ve read that teams aren’t crazy about. Why have a franchise QB for maybe 5 years when Stroud or Strong could be a franchise QB for ten years. Not saying you are wrong, just saying what I’ve read.

Defenses have changed since Cam killed everyone with the spread. I also don’t think Hooker is close to the player or athlete that Cam was. I also don’t think Hooker has elite intangibles, I think he’s in a very simplified offense… I mean head to head he lost to Malik Willis and Liberty… in fact, Willis outplayed him. And there’s zero chance he’s even considered as the number one overall pick. You might not care about his age but NFL teams do… if Hooker is taken in the first round, he’d be the third oldest QB selected in the first round since 1956… that’s first round… not number one overall… just first round.

Most NFL teams and scouts will hate the amount of hurry up that Hooker runs. He’s looked good in Heupel’s offense but he also did not look as good when he was with Virginia Tech, who runs more of a pro style offense.

That was a strong ass run by Elijah Green, was taking defenders for a ride on that TD run.

I’ve watched Boston and they look pretty damn good. Bringing back Krejci has helped them solidify their 2C position. I’ve also been impressed with Vegas.

Pitt’s been so hit or miss this year. One week they look good and the next week they look pedestrian. It figures that they’d play well against Carolina. It’s wild to think that just a couple years ago that Slovis was thought of a legit NFL prospect.

I liked Svech - Aho - Necas as a line but I don’t like putting all of our scoring all on one line. Teravainen needs to get his poo together because he’s killing us right now. Pacioretty can’t get healthy soon enough.

As far as QB play goes… Young is probably the best bet… no idea how long he’ll last though.

One thing you can control as a QB is your bad throws… Levis has made a ton of them. He’s got some good tools to work with but he’s a third round guy for me… nothing alike but I rate him similarly to Corral.

We went from a loss and me ready to write this team off, to a win and second in the Metro (though we have the same amount of points as the Flyers who are in first). What a roller coaster.
