Purely a defensive-defenseman. In 142 games with Utica (AHL) he had a total of two goals. This year, in 17 games with Chicago he has 4 goals. The knock on Chatfield from the Vancouver organization was his skating but Smith’s skating makes Chatfield’s look like McDavid’s.

Was having a career year with Chicago before he was called up. He seems to do all the little things right.

I believe they have the rapid tests and they test every 72 hours. Assuming he (Aho) woke up today feeling rough I would think that they’d have the test results by now and be able to announce that a) he’s in the protocol or b) it’s flu like symptoms. No idea though, I’m not sure how they announce these things. All that the PR department stated was that he was out with an illness.
