  1. We haven’t been bad overall, it’s still a bend but don’t break mentality but as we acquire more talent up top that should change.
  2. Look like it’s a 3-4-3 again. GK - Kahlina, Marks (SUB) LCB - Fuchs, Sobocinski (SUB) CB - Makoun RCB - Corujo LWB - Mora, Armour (SUB) CDM - Bronico, Alcivar (SUB), Hegardt (SUB) CM - Franco, Ruiz (SUB), Bender (SUB) RWB - Lindsey, Afful (SUB) LW - Ortiz CF - Swiderski, Rios (SUB) RW - Reyna, Gaines (SUB)
  3. A third and a sixth would be nice compensation for Anderson. We can find someone in the third who can drop the same amount of balls as Anderson for an eighth of the price. The sixth is so that Rhule can draft whatever LS is available this year.
  4. In reality players are 100% judged and valued on their cap hit and dead cap. If Robby is on the Panthers this year and he doesn’t put up top 10 wide receiver numbers then the FO isn’t going to keep him just because his base salary is $8M. They are going to look at his cap hit and dead cap number and see that he can be cut very easily which in turn provides more value to the team. His value to the Panthers was high when his cap hit was only $8M and he was putting up huge numbers, with that in the past his value begins to diminish as the cap hit gets bigger. Especially considering the numbers he put up last year.
  5. It’s going to be electric tomorrow… it looks like Charlotte will break the MLS attendance record for a single game (currently held by Atlanta United). Assuming most of the purchasing fans show up, it’ll put the attendance on par with a Panthers game.
  6. It looks like we might revisit the Machis deal if his legal troubles get wrapped up. He’d be a superstar in the MLS.
  7. This is good news for Charlotte as we finally have enough wingers to potentially play a 4-3-3 again if MAR desires. GK - Kahlina, Marks, Sisniega, Zendejas LB - Mora, Armour LCB - Fuchs, Makoun RCB - Corujo, Sobocinski, Walkes (injured) RB - Lindsey, Afful, Santos CDM - Alcivar, Hegardt CM - Ruiz, Franco, Bronico CAM - Ortiz, Bender LW - Jozwiak CF - Swiderski, Rios, Mello (injured) RW - Reyna, Gaines
  8. Need a trade or something to generate energy, this team doesn’t look great.
  9. The Ian Thomas deal continues to look worse and worse every day knowing that we have holes everywhere and not a whole lot of cap space. Moton’s restructure should help a bit but not enough to make a huge difference. I don’t understand the point of drafting Tremble if you don’t even give him a chance.
  10. Sam Darnold’s $19M fifth year option has a lot to do with that… shout-out Panthers front office.
  11. Outside of Moton and Horn everyone should be available. Moton has a hefty salary but it’s a fair price for a top three right tackle. With Horn, there’s a solid chance that he plays well above his rookie deal. Everyone else should be available for the right price.
  12. The bench seems more engaged tonight. This team has all of the pieces to be very good other than a quality starting big man but they have to want it and be engaged like they are tonight.
  13. Seems like the absolutely worst case scenario is that IT will be a very good veteran presence for us.
  14. I’m impressed with Detroit every time we play them, I’m surprised their record isn’t better.
  15. He torched Greensboro and now he’s got a deal with the Hornets.
