I believe they have the rapid tests and they test every 72 hours. Assuming he (Aho) woke up today feeling rough I would think that they’d have the test results by now and be able to announce that a) he’s in the protocol or b) it’s flu like symptoms. No idea though, I’m not sure how they announce these things. All that the PR department stated was that he was out with an illness.

A little surprised that we don’t roll out Smith on the fourth line. He had experience at forward with NYR.

Bless you Canes, I need to get the horrors of the Panthers game out of my mind. As @BlackPanther21_ mentioned, this is going to be a battle. The Nucks have won 5 of their last 6 (and are 3-0 since their organizational changes) and will have rested legs. To be honest, I’m not expecting to win this game. I think we’ll need to be pretty perfect and Raanta will have to be on his A game. All I ask is that Aho extend his point streak. With 12 points in his last 5 games, he’s on a tear, another multi-point performance should get him first star of the week.

Well said! I don’t know why this is so hard for people to comprehend. Let the front office personnel do the job that theoretically they were hired to do. That starts with allowing them to pick their staff. Everything about this organization is backwards. From hiring practices to emphasis on one player position over another. It’s honestly a joke.

Started realizing that when they were pushing the whole “break the MLS attendance record” thing during the middle of of the Panthers season. Not sure how this is going to work out and honestly wouldn’t be surprised if one of the leagues stepped in. The MLS already despises their teams playing in NFL stadiums.

We obviously all know what happened the year prior where they picked one spot ahead of us and grabbed Herbert right in front of our nose (due to that stupid win against Washington). On the contrary, Fitterer should give everyone their walking papers, walk in to Tepper’s office, slap him in the face, and demand that it’s done his way now. I’ve never seen a GM given such little power.

This makes Sunday’s a lot easier now, hopefully lose out, obtain a top 5 pick, fire Rhule and hire Hackett, start the rebuilding process over again.
