The tweet only makes sense if the Canes are trying to extend Bear for less than what his QO is. In this scenario, the Canes might be trying to sign Bear to a 2x$3M - $1.5M per year deal (basically something less that what his QO is). I hope another team offer sheets Bear as I’d be happy with a third round pick for him and I personally want Chatfield or Keane to get a chance with the big club.

I just feel like if you go through an extensive interview process where you are speaking with guys multiple times, theoretically, you should be able to tell who is fully invested… unless of course Atkinson is just purely deceitful.

Atkinson’s heart wasn’t in it from the start, whatever, I didn’t want him anyway and I’m personally glad that he isn’t going to be our head coach. Would really like to see Jozwiak or Vargas get more time out on the wing. Gaines seems like a player who would dominate the USL but just provide solid depth in the MLS. Speed alone isn’t going to get it done. Also agree on Kahlina, those types of mistakes can’t happen. That was Bender’s worst game, he got bodied quite a bit. I also agree about the defense. Walkes has been great back there beside Corujo. I do wish Fuchs had more speed because I’d love to have him at LB, I just think he’s too slow.
