  1. Great point here. Staal’s line dominated the last eight minutes of the game just moving the puck behind the net from one side to the other. This team knows how to finish.
  2. Not sure if fighting has a place in the game but we could use something, anything, to create some energy.
  3. It appears they’ve found out what was wrong with KK… he’s not a winger.
  4. Rod’s gonna put some boots in asses during the break. Andersen trying to keep us in it.
  5. Anaheim looks faster right now. It would be nice to get out of the period ahead. I suspect Rod won’t be happy even if we are up.
  6. Started slow but looks like we’ve woken up a tad. Props to Freddie for those early saves.
  7. Necas with some absolute filth… I need to go take a shower. No way Bear was going to miss that one.
  8. Going to be a battle but this is the best line-up we’ve iced all season.
  9. I personally like McDaniels more than P.J. He’s on a cheaper contract and he just looks like a more impactful player. If P.J. isn’t scoring he doesn’t seem to provide a whole lot. It would be nice if the Hornets could use P.J. to upgrade the center position.
  10. DON’T LOOK NOW… The past two days couldn’t have gone any better for the Hornets. Yesterday - 76ers loss Today - Hornets Win, Knicks Loss, Cavs Loss Current Eastern Conference Standings 1. Wizards 2. Bulls 3. Nets 4. Heat 5. HORNETS 6. Cavaliers —————— 7. Knicks 8. 76ers 9. Celtics 10. Raptors —————— *Bulls could be in first by the end of the night with a win over the Trail Blazers*
  11. Here’s your ball game right here. Harrell and Gafford in the first half - 25 points Harrell and Gafford in the second half - 10 points We locked down their bigs in the second half and with the Wizards only shooting 19% from three that effectively finished them. Shoutout to Nick Richards, Kelly Oubre, and Cody Martin who brought the defense in the second half.
  12. For me it’s more about the rim protection… buttttt… if Richards can protect the rim like he did in the second half then maybe it’s not necessary.
  13. Yep, I live in Orlando and have seen him play a few times. He’s been solid this year. Issue for him is that Wendell Carter has been better. From what I’ve heard, it’s unlikely that he’ll be in the Magic’s future plans but he’ll definitely command a big market from playoff contenders. Magic will want young players back with term along with some draft picks.
  14. It wouldn’t be cheap but I think this is one situation where being a divisional opponent wouldn’t matter that much. I think they’ll take the best offer for Bamba and I don’t expect him to fetch the same type of return that Myles Turner would. I’d suspect P.J. Washington, Nick Richards, and the protected first round pick from New Orleans (which will certainly become two seconds) would get the job done. Magic could roll with a lineup of Cole Anthony, Jalen Suggs, Jonathan Issac, P.J. Washington, and Wendell Carter with Hampton, Ross, F. Wagner, M. Wagner, and Richards coming off the bench. Hornets could roll with Ball, Rozier, Hayward, Bridges, and Bamba with Smith, Martin, Oubre, McDaniels, and Plumlee coming off the bench. Rest of the bench would be made up of Bouknight, Jones, and Carey.
