If Quinn is Fitterers top guy, the we should go ahead in fire him right now. Because this scenario says we have no vision of what we would ideally like the future to look like.
-
I absolutely love Cam Ward and if we fall out of the top 10 he should 100% be our target.
-
Assuming he is a first or second round guy, there are other intriguing guys with higher sealing as well. Cam Ward and Anthony Richardson come to mind. I also think Tanner McKee is someone to watch.
-
Hasn't he been in college for like a decade? Not saying he isn't a top prospect, but he will be something like a 26 year old rookie, if age matters at all. I remember that being one of the hits against Pickett last year.

For the record, I would like to see us persue Steichen next season, but I think it's always interesting that most interim coaches don't get an opportunity. Not necessarily because they perform badly, but usually the team is in a terrible situation or there a very limited sample to see change. Obviously, the Raiders coach last year is an outlier here. He lead that team to a huge turnaround, and still didn't get the job. With no QB, a half baked staff, what would it take to put you in Wilks' corner?

I think the "not attractive job" is a common overreaction to bad teams in times of transition, but teams like the Browns and Lions and Jags have always gotten who they were chasing for... Even if it didn't always work out. I think we will get who Tepper wants, minus maybe Peyton.
-
He fired Ron once, why would he want to do it again?
-
I think Peyton is an incredible longshot. So I wouldnt count on it.

Considering the recent WR trades, DJ is probably worth significantly more than a first round pick.
-
I think Russel is to good to not get it together, Denver is a bizarre case study. They are the definition of a team whose roster doesn't necessarily reflect the expectations place on them.
-
Quinn is okay... I get it, less of a risk than an unknown guy. I think Tepper needs to grab his brass balls and not be afraid to take another risk despite the failure of Rhule. it just needs to be a smarter risk.
-
If a team, say like Buffalo who is desperate to get over the top and gives us a first round pick for CMC, I'm all in.
-
I like Raheem Morris too.
-
Steichen/Levis combo for me.

Aaron Wilson: Tepper's patience with Rhule growing thin

All that being said, I don't personally think Quinn was a bad coach, just very similar to what we had in Rivera. -

Getting Tomlin would be a dream scenario. -

Honestly, I think that is a bug concern. I wouldn't be surprised if he over corrects and gets a Dan Quinn type coach. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but you better get the right one. I don't think there are many instances of head coaches winning Superbowls with multiple teams. That being said, Doug Pederson is doing wonders in Jacksonville and could be the COTY if their trend continues.
