    I said this exact thing, almost verbatim. I can't believe that I'm saying this, but Darnold might be better. I was fully expecting a PJ chant to start yesterday.

    Yeah, but we were just trying to find the best short term solution. Gonzalez is still our guy next year. makes sense to go with the seasoned vet.

    I think Lovett makes PS. He ran well and, more importantly, had good hands in preseason. Hell, I was half expecting him to make it over Hubbard, who has bricks for hands. Also, Shenault and Ricci will get some designed runs.

    Saunders & Roberts is my guess. If there's a third then Zylstra but I doubt it. Moore, Anderson, Shenault, Smith, Higgins, & TMJ is solid AF!
