  1. Oh yeah, I hadn't thought of this one, but it was awesome.
  2. It's worth noting that we signed Elfein to a 3 year deal, Even if the final year is practically voidable. I think he's our insurance policy at C for next year just in case Moore doesn't get it or we don't come across a 2022 FA or draft pick that can start day 1.
  3. Oh, I think it definitely was. they had a pitty in an ATL jersey. I went the atl game the year after that and a guy in a Vick jersey caught holy hell from a man in a Scooby Doo costume. it was hilarious.
  4. So, you saxxy mutherfugger, when you doing the defense??
  5. LT Christensen - Erving may start game 1 here if Brady doesn't have a strong preseason LG Elfein - In the Darnold highlights from last year, Elfein stood out to me, plus there's familiarity with Sam C Paradis - played well last year and Elfein is his only real competition RG Miller- player well last year and will keep the right side of the line gelled from last season RT Moton - Duh This is my best guess and my reasoning. Obviously both guard positions are completely up in the air with 2 rookies and 2 FA's brought in that play guard, plus several returning guys (Daley & Miller). I think/hope the plan is to get Christensen to LT ASAP, but he's in the guard race as well if he can't beat out Erving and Scott.
  6. You reckon bringing in a FA TE and drafting one lit a fire under his ass? hopefully he ups his game this season and becomes another weapon in Sam's arsenal.
  7. I am officially changing my name to DicK Hammer! That's so frikkin cool.
  8. My biggest issue is with the title. We, in no way, blew offseason. Our line is better, our D is better in every area, our QB can't be any worse, we have more playmakers catching the ball. Did we pass on drafting some better talent in order to accumulate more picks? Probably. There's no way to tell whether the 12 that we got will be worse than the 7 we didn't.
  9. Playing Devil's advocate, B/R is all opinion pieces, and other than the last paragraph, he didn't lie. We did cut Teddy, we did trade for a a QB that has not been good so far, and we did pass on QB and LT in the first round. But completely ignoring the weapons we got for Sam and the fact that our line is significantly improved from last season makes this guy look like an idiot. Plus it was glaringly obvious to anyone who watched a game last season that Teddy was not getting it done. I personally love the Horn pick, but passing on Slater and Fields were hard pills to swallow for a huge portion of the fanbase. If Christianson and Darnold don't work out, there are going to be a lot of I told you so's.
  10. Agreed, But passing on Radunz at 59 hurt my feelings. I thought he was going to be our guy at 39. Hell, I would have preferred Humphrey at 59 over Marshall, but I admit that I was a little O-line crazy going into the draft. Marshall was a better value than Humprey, especially if he really was going to be the pick at 52 anyway.
  11. I wouldn't bet on Moore and Brown both making the lineup. A year on PS would help them both. I do agree with you that they both have more of an upside, from what I've seen, that Little. Hell, Kaskey is a big dude that hung around PS all last year, or another FA let go by another team might get signed.
  12. It'll be nice to have the first week of Dec off to get healthy. From that point on, it's going to be a tough row to hoe.
  13. Little better hope to God that he can play LG or he probably won't be around come Sept.
  14. I think the plan last year was to let Davis take a little of the load off CMC, until CMC got hurt and Davis ran his ass off and we couldn't afford to keep him. Hubbard slides immediately into that role, IMO. Nice to keep a bit of the wear and tear off of our $64M man.
  15. I hate Tom Brady, and everything he stands for!
  16. I can get behind that deal all day! I think Hubbard and Nixon will contribute this year and we recouped our 2022 4th for Darnold. Now, let's all hope the Rams are awful this year.
  17. So, they got 89, and we got 109 (which we traded for 126, 166, and 232 / Hubbard, Taylor, Hoskins), their 5th (# 158 / Nixon), AND the Rams 2022 4th round pick.
  18. As a teenage boy, that would have been good enough! I grew up in the 80's when you had to make do with your dad's stack of dusty 1970's playboys and the sears catalog bra section.
  19. Absolutely. I'm honestly excited to see this group in action though. Burns, YGM, Fox, Nixon, Brown, Jones, Reddick; That's a lot of bad-ass coming at a QB!
