  1. Could be this is our our year. I don’t think he’d have any issue in free agency. He’s not as bad as everyone thinks. we were just spoiled with some of the greatest linebackers in the modern game.
  2. Ya but then he misses the jump on free agency doesn’t he?
  3. From a team/nfl aspect he's great. From a football aspect i'm pretty on the fence about him still.
  4. If it was releasing him Pre-June 1st first does not give me much hope in our new GM. Perhaps he wants to be released now or traded. The difference is 5.5 million if we are just going to cut him today.
  5. Is Daley still on the roster? I thought he was a FA this year. Nvm was thinking Schofield.
  6. Ya in reality you are correct. I was just saying the best case scenario with teddy at this point cap/contract wise for us. Is to offload him to a team that needs a "Starting" QB training camp or early next season due to injury post june sixth. Anything else and we losing a serious chunk of space.
  7. Our best hope from an overall view is to trade teddy for a second or third round after June first to a team in dire need of a QB, such as one who losses their starting QB in training camp. Anything else and he's a flat loss books wise.
  8. I think if we were making a serious run last year he probably could have played way more games than he did. That said you are right he's got some mileage but last year also helped to balance that out.
  9. It does not save us a ton of money. It actually costs us an extra 5 million this year coupled with paying 40 million a year after this year for Watson. We could easily get a draft QB and save way more overall.
  10. CMC never left form. He just was injured and I think Rhule purposely kept him on the sideline when he could likely still play.
  11. CMC isn't conducive to our salary cap or theirs in a trade. And doesn't fit their needs this off season.
  12. Great start to the series overall. Sounds like from Rod's comments though TT may be out for a bit. I believe the quote was "a few games at least, we'll know more tomorrow or Monday". So potentially worse than he was letting on. Gardiner was a keeping Fleury in game (mental)shape decision. That paid off. Can't remember the exact quote. Might be more to read to read into there, maybe not.
  13. Now if they can just get Ned to settle down on that behind the net play vs these guys they almost got him twice on the turnover.
  14. Not sure about Gardiner, But Turbo is out cause of that hit yesterday. I think he practiced though so probably just decided to rest him tonight for Monday + the away games.
  15. I hope so, I think Gardiner has been one of our best Defensive players in general so far, Resting him here though is suspect. Fleury and Bean, they are both going to have to step it up. Not sure what Rod's methodology is here. Also Paquette on the wing, interesting. Guess we don't trust Lorentz enough on the alt yet.
  16. Skip Corn. Hope that pride improves ya but getting Douglas on another year deal if he isn't picked up elsewhere is not a bad option this year. Especially with Jacksons health. We need 3 CB's in reality judging by last year.
  17. Oof, its on hold now and they are waiting to figure out if they can play later or tomorrow morning to finish the game. Covering the ice up now. Sun got hot and that ice turned to slush.
  18. Ya you can tell some of the guys have switched to tinted visors.
  19. Glare aside for the players as a fan its absolutely gorgeous. I love outdoor ice and that setting is pristine.
