  1. Yep, that's where I'm at too. These rumors make it sound like Rhule literally said "Go get me any quarterback, I don't care who."
  2. Would you drop the ax on Rhule if we are sub .500 this year again?
  3. Not really sure, maybe they want to get Reimer's confidence back up but i'm really starting to wonder if they don't think Ned can cut it and just have him as an injury backup. I don't know how trade's work this year with quarantining + calling up from other sources. But maybe we don't have anyone behind Ned we really trust at all. Or maybe they are hoping for an accelerated timetable on Mrazek.
  4. And three years of losing, plus an * in that tweet.
  5. Projected lineup. Looks like Reimer is getting the start again. Forwards Svechnikov-Aho-McGinn Niederreiter-Trocheck-Teravainen Dzingel-Staal-Foegele Martinook-Geekie-Fast Defensemen Slavin-Pesce Skjei-Hamilton Gardiner-Fleury Goalies Reimer Nedeljkovic
  6. COLUMBUS - It's the big game before the big game as the Carolina Hurricanes face off with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the first half of a back-to-back set. The Match-Up Carolina Hurricanes (6-2-0, 12 points) at Columbus Blue Jackets (5-4-3, 13 points) Sunday, Feb. 7, 3 p.m. Watch: FOX Sports Carolinas, FOX Sports GO Listen: 99.9 FM The Fan, Hurricanes.com/Listen, Hurricanes app Ripping off @Zod format a bit. https://www.nhl.com/hurricanes/news/gameday-preview-carolina-hurricanes-columbus-blue-jackets/c-321164670 Looks like Necas will be out but Fast is returning to the lineup today. No predicted lineups and who's starting in goal out yet though.
  7. Why does it feel like us going after every trade is just them throwing poo at the wall until somthing sticks and not any calculated plan at all?
  8. Oh you know every smart investment firm dumped some liquidity into it on Tuesday/Wednesday and sold on Thursday at or around the peak. Easy little bump for them and probably why it got so high in the first place.
  9. "National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell has written President Biden to commit the use of every team stadium as a mass vaccination site. Goodell’s letter, addressed to Biden at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue N.W. and obtained by CNN, pledges that the league will work with federal and regional health officials to ensure each of the 32 NFL teams’ participation in the effort. “The NFL and our 32 member clubs are committed to doing our part to ensure that vaccines are as widely accessible in our communities as possible," Goodell wrote. “To that end, each NFL team will make its stadium available for mass vaccinations of the general public in coordination with local, state, and federal health officials." Goodell added: “We can expand our efforts to stadiums across the nation more effectively because many of our clubs have offered their facilities previously as Covid testing centers as well as election sites over the past several months.” Seven NFL clubs have already activated their stadiums or nearby sites as vaccination centers. The teams are: Arizona Cardinals (State Farm Stadium) Atlanta Falcons (Mercedes-Benz Stadium) Baltimore Ravens (M&T Bank Stadium) Carolina Panthers (Bank of America Stadium) Houston Texans (NRG Park) Miami Dolphins (Hard Rock Stadium) New England Patriots (Gillette Stadium)" Good to see Tepper was ahead of the curve on this one.
  10. That awesome. I'm curious to see what the job will entail. Kinda sounds like they are grooming him for a GM job in the future.
  11. Season 1 is epic. Everything else. Nah.
  12. All I gotta say going into season two is Bobby "MotherFing" Draper. Easily my favorite character outside of Alex. Shes just a straight up badass.
  13. Sad part is in most of the big power rankings the COVID held us down, we were top 10 going into the season and no reason to believe that's changed. The full compiled power ranking had us at 4-6~ range before the last game.
  14. We did! you just never listened. I haven't done the newest season yet should be good if they don't deviate from the books too much.
  15. Ya, I'm interested to see how Rod shakes up the lines if at all since the slow start from the COVID crew.
  16. That said I’m sure how close his injury was to Goffs. I didn’t see goffs so I’m not sure. Mrazeks was pretty gruesome though and it looks like a full thumb joint repair.
  17. It is pretty awesome to see Kislev fully fleshed out.
  18. I think he will run a two QB set if he doesn’t draft or trade for(ya I know, with what) a QB.
  19. Interestingly enough Mrazek was Money Pucks top ranked goal before he was injured.
  20. And play style. Plus he's getting this said about him. Its interesting that most scouts asked are valuing him as a second rounder that will probably be over valued as a first round pick in the real world while the media is hyping him as the second or third pick, with Schefter swearing he'll go two overall to the jets. "In speaking to a director of college scouting from a NFC team that is in the market for a new quarterback, he outlined the makeup concerns with Wilson: "Johnny Manziel comp without the [drugs]. [Wilson] is fun to watch, but is he a 1-year flash in the pan? He's a backyard baller who is fun to watch." "Someone will grab him in the first [round]. I doubt he gets to the second [round] because once the third quarterback goes, after Lawrence and Fields, there will be a run on them. [Wilson] has character concerns, rich kid who is an entitled brat - uncle owns Jet Blue -, parents are a pain, not a leader, selfish, and he's a know-it-all. "His positives are that he's super competitive, not to get scared and won't back down, extremely confident, very smart with keen recall and teammates will play for him.""
  21. I’m just not sold on Wilson and he does remind me a lot of Manziel right now. If we want to go for broke pulling a trade I say we go all in after Lawrence. Or wait until next year to try and nab that UNC QB. In reality I’d rather us trade back and accumulate picks. Rhule strikes me as the type of coach that does well with young players but as they mature if he does not adapt he’ll end up butting heads with them.
  22. Rod looks like he's about to pass the fug out in the presser. Hope he's ok.
  23. Reimer fugging played that shootout perfect too.
