  1. It's been four. And the idea that the records not "delineating ownership" could mean that Tepper somehow gets credit for what happened under Richardson is one of the stupidest things ever posted on here. As to turnarounds taking huge amounts of time, ask the Bengals about that.
  2. I remember when the Steelers had Russ Grimm as their line coach. Now it's Pat Meyer? Yikes
  3. It's not a matter of Matt Rhule "coming to his senses". When you're not qualified for a job, you can't suddenly become qualified.
  4. I don't know that he's on a shortly at all, at least not starting out. If we start losing early, then it might kick in.
  5. Might not, but it happens sometimes. Heck, Rhule kept a couple.
  6. There are guys I'd like to keep even if Rhule is fired (Campen, for one).
  7. I expect the most common answer will be Matt Rhule getting replaced by a competent coach. Second most would probably be David Tepper selling the team.
  8. Can we judge him for Ian Thomas when Matt Rhule insisted on keeping him? Also have to wonder how keeping Dan Arnold would have affected our view of tight end performance.
  9. Richardson wasn't exactly forced, but as time went on he got grumpy about the process and started saying stuff like "I don't have to sell this team of I don't want to". The NFL's response was along the lines of "no take backs".
  10. Cignetti is a guy I'd looked at as a potential addition.
  11. FYI: TE Coach Brian Angelichio has left to pursue "other opportunities". (the fourth assistant coach to do so). Kevin Gilbride Jr is his replacement.
  12. I wouldn't say I'm against it. I am kinda surprised by it. Starting to wonder if Adam Henry is a world class a--hole or something. I doubt anyone would disagree that the Cowboys receivers were well coached under him, but nobody seems to want him (the Cowboys included).
  13. Much as I love Proehl, our best receiver coach was Richard Williamson. I'd take Mike Trgovac over Eric Washington too. Brad Seely is likely the top special teams coach. Some would say Scott O'Brien but everyone who had to work with him hated him. OC is Dan Henning or Gil Haskell.
  14. No pro experience... No Malik Willis connection; Willis didn't get to Liberty till after he left... College bio here: link
  15. Passed away a while back, didn't he? My favorite Sam memory is the interception that sealed the first playoff win against Dallas.
  16. I'm probably not the only one who remembers Sam taking down Ironhead Heyward one on one.
