  1. Throwing a Drink Could Land You in Jail Because of the definitions of assault, throwing a can of liquid at someone will most likely be considered aggravated assault. Even throwing water at someone can be considered assault because it may classified as harmful touching. However, if you fail to make contact, throw an empty can or bottle, or just get their shirt wet, it might only be considered basic assault. Is throwing a drink at someone considered assault?
  2. Multiple sources have reported that. Honestly, I think they're likely right.
  3. Never known you to allow facts to get in the way of your opinions, no matter how stupid they may be
  4. He grew up in Asheville and was likely a fan of the team in high school during their 2003 Super Bowl run. Whether or not that means anything to him or is anything significant, unknown.
  5. So I'm guessing the Chargers didn't fire him either? 🫥
  6. Lynn was with the Lions for one season three years ago and got fired.
  7. I'm not sure anybody's good enough for that contract. But what's probably more relevant is that he's not a good fit for Sean Payton's system at all. Payton runs a very buttoned down, rigid system whereas most of Wilson's best plays come from off platform improvisation. Those two were never a good match.
  8. Yeah, we need to wait for a guy who wants the job so bad that he'll take less money just for the privilege. ... Good luck with that (also while we're at it, let's try taking that same approach with players)
  9. Wilson and Payton we're always predicted to be a poor match, but it had to do with system fit and personality, not skin color. There's apparently a rumor now that Wilson could wind up joining Bill Belichick next season, and Lord have mercy would I want to see the "Hard Knocks" style video of that
  10. The whole "oh, it's just about money" thing is a pretty dumb argument. If they believed he was the guy they could build a consistent winner around, they wouldn't give a sh-t about that stuff. Wilson is being benched because he's not good enough.
  11. The last leader of men we were offered wanted an OC whose currently being accused of running a high school level offense and a DC who'd pretty well proven he wasn't up to the task. It's the same as choosing political leaders because they give great speeches rather than whether or not they actually have a clue what they're doing.
  12. That's being generous. His entire 7 minute rant is based on the 15 million a year rumor and it's full of completely idiotic takes. The video is garbage.
  13. Well, only one of the two is currently expecting to be cut by his current team as of March. Hint: It isn't Bryce
  14. Not exactly what Anderson is saying here. Despite acknowledging the agent disputing the figure she says she trusts her sources, but also gives herself an out by saying "market rates and leverage points will evolve" through negotiations.
  15. I'd add with regard to Jackson in particular that the regular season isn't over and the playoffs haven't started. What does that mean? Well, a couple of the biggest criticisms of Jackson have revolved around games lost to injury and fading in the playoffs. Those two things haven't happened this season...yet. The above mentioned timeline means they still could, and even if they don't happen this year, they still could next. Always be careful about declaring victory before the race is over.
  16. This is one of those questions like why didn't you draft Tom Brady or Puka Nacua or Terrell Davis or Trey Smith or whomever where the ultimate answer is actually pretty easy... Same reason nobody else did.
  17. Wish I knew. Pretty sure I'll just be watching hopefully like everybody else
  18. That's been the guarding force behind sports talk radio pretty much since Jim Rome hit the scene. It's not about having a thoughtful discussion anymore. It's about having the hottest possible take (and having it first) then demanding everybody react to it. At some point, fandom decided dick measuring contests were more fun than thoughtful discussion.
