  1. The Assistant GM hire is probably not going to be the only change made to the staff.
  2. I got stuck for months with a Bucs avatar and a signature that said The Notebook was my favorite movie.
  3. And you know Luke would never half ass it. Lord knows he's been consumed by football for a pretty good portion of his life. A break might not be a bad idea.
  4. Hate to sound cynical, but as a minority candidate, Cunningham would satisfy the Rooney Rule. The league does now require that senior executive positions fall under the rule as well as head coaching jobs.
  5. David Newton is reporting that this actually happened before free agency started. It has been confirmed that it's not health related.
  6. The majority of Cunningham's experience has been with the Ravens. That's a plus. The Eagles made him their Director of College Scouting in 2017. He was promoted to Assistant Director of Player Personnel two years later. All that said, I'd be shocked out of my socks if the job went to anybody but Morgan. He and Fitterer have too much history. Morgan considers him a friend and a mentor.
  7. Reading between the lines, it sounds like he's not staying in football, at least for now. It's kind of understandable. Somebody who throws themselves into a job as hard as Luke does could pretty easily burn themselves out.
  8. Cunningham's bio from the Eagles website... Prior to joining the Eagles staff, Cunningham spent the first nine years of his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens. In Baltimore, Cunningham worked with Eagles vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl, as well as former Eagles vice president of player personnel and current New York Jets general manager Joe Douglas. Cunningham joined the Ravens as a player personnel assistant in 2008 and was promoted to southeast area scout in 2013. In his final four seasons with the Ravens, Cunningham was primarily responsible for scouting schools in the Southeastern Conference and Atlantic Coast Conference. Cunningham earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Virginia in 2017 and went on to earn a master's education in 2008. A former offensive lineman, he started 20 games for the Cavaliers during his collegiate football career and earned honorable mention freshman All-American honors from Rivals.com and ACC All-Freshman Team recognition from The Sporting News. A standout offensive and defensive lineman at Hebron High School in Carrollton, TX, Cunningham earned numerous all-state and all-area honors as a senior. Front Office: Ian Cunningham
  9. That's where we got Pat Stewart from. I'm looking up Cunningham.
  10. Can't find any details. This is as close as I've seen and I'm not sure he actually knows anything. Edit: Someone above asked Voth
  11. Two candidates so far... Albert Breer also mentioned that Ryan Poles of the Chiefs, previously a candidate for the GM job, might be interviewed for this position as well. No official word on that just yet.
  12. Word now that they're also asking to interview Ian Cunningham, the other candidate that Breer mentioned.
  13. I'm not sure that can happen. He'd still technically have a contract.
  14. Was really happy to see the news about us interviewing Dan Morgan for the Assistant GM job, but it looks like that dream of Morgan and Kuechly on the same staff isn't gonna happen.
  15. Apparently it happened sometime in the last few weeks but wasn't known until now. No word on what happened or why at this point.
  16. Can confirm the request to interview Morgan but hadn't heard about Kuechly.
  17. Related... "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go get ready to fire a bunch of them"
  18. Hint: The half that said it was the truth...they were right. The five year extension story came from somewhere else.
  19. In the same place where you see Report and Share, but it's only there for about five minutes after you post then it goes away.
