  1. I'm more likely to dress up as Astro from the Jetsons.
  2. I'm reading this right, "a man in a Scooby Doo costume"
  3. They also always say "This is a really stupid take". (and they're right)
  4. I think that's kind of a "chicken or the egg" debate. Did we not use the tight end much last year because we didn't want to or was it because our tight end options weren't that good?
  5. The list doesn't seem to include one of the undrafted players, FB Mason Stokke. Looked at the site and he's still on the roster. So is Darius Clark.
  6. I'll try to go back and look here in a few minutes.
  7. Also remember DL Coach Brian Baker being entertaining the way he got on guys for half-assing
  8. One of the years when Ron Meeks was DC (probably 2010) I remember him loudly calling out Richard Marshall in-between drills.
  9. Finished on IR last season so could be injury concerns
  10. Don't know, but I expect. That's primarily for bad weather though (or at least I thought it was).
  11. Come September, he might not be.
  12. I feel like Elflein and Erving probably start the season, maybe at the guard spots or Erving at left tackle
  13. Wish that was still possible
  14. From the article, the non quarterback tryout players are... DE Kendall Donnerson : 2018 seventh round pick for the Packers; spent last year on the Bengals practice squad LB Kavika Fonua : another BYU player; has in the past been listed at linebacker, safety, cornerback and runningback; The Observer lists him as a linebacker but at 205 lbs, I'm not so sure of that S Delano Hill : 2017 third round pick by the Seahawks, so I'm guessing Fitterer knows him; got ejected for a dirty hit on a special teams play his rookie season; has apparently changed his first name to just Lano
  15. Possible, but the question I always ask is if, as a professional, you need "a fire lit under your ass" in order to be your best, how good are you really?
  16. I didn't really think all that highly of this year's choices. Sticking with Bridgewater was a non-starter. Stafford would have been good, but only a short term solution. Trading for someone like Watson or Wilson would have cost too much. Moving up high enough in the draft to get one of the top choices would also have cost more than I'd have been comfortable paying, and I had concerns about all of those guys anyway. Darnold? I was iffy on that idea, but what we have up for him was reasonable (especially given that we got most of it back by trading down in the draft). So for now, I'm just in wait and see mode.
  17. I'm hopeful for Christensen, but it also wouldn't surprise me terribly if next year was the year we get our franchise left tackle.
