    Multiple sources now reporting that the Chiefs are signing Joe Thuney.

    Dude built an online persona around two people associated with the Panthers. Neither of them is actually here anymore, but he continues within the same persona. Hilarious They seriously need to get a girlfriend, or a boyfriend, or a life, or...something.

    Only guy that hasn't received a tender offer yet. We speculated earlier that maybe they were trying to sign him to something longer, but this sort of flies in the face of that. He's been good depth. I was hoping we'd keep him.

    I don't think they're backups. For one, you have to consider that with what happened to the cap and everything, this year is unusual. But perhaps more important, from the looks of it they seem to be making more money than the guys we paid to be starters last year.

    I think at this point, it's fairly safe to say that missing the playoffs last year pissed Belichick off. It is, however, also fair to point out that Bill Belichick the GM doesn't have as good a track record as Bill Belichick the coach.

    I'd have to say I honestly don't give a sh-t what WalterFootball grades us on much of anything.

    That depends on the system. WCO based systems like ours frequently have smaller, more athletic linemen. I'd also point out that though he's an inch taller, Joe Thuney is actually listed as eight pounds lighter than Elflein.

    I remember Elflein being pretty good in the past. Don't know as much about Erving. As mentioned elsewhere, I'm not "freaked out" by either signing, but I am a little concerned about us pursuing recently injured players again.

    I don't know that these are terrible signings, and I feel like it's going to be a while before we can say anything definitive on it. My concern is that we're still pursuing players who have dealt with recent injuries.
