Fitterer dabbled in pro scouting but with the Seahawks, that area was primarily under Trent Kirchner (and John Schneider, of course). The college side was Fitterer's primary thing.

Weis doesn't coach anymore.

Growing up, a good buddy of mine had an uncle who was an absolute dipsh-t. He once got his face shown on local TV as he was being hauled away by the cops. While my friend's mom (his sister) was crying her eyes out over his arrest and what was going to happen to his kids, his attitude was like "Whoo, I got on TV." Little sh-ts who pull dumbass stuff like this so they can get views on social media remind me of him.

Garoppolo reminds me of Chris Chandler. Can be good, not necessarily great, sometimes struggles to stay healthy.

As to my grade I've been saying "incomplete" and I still say it. He did gain some respect from me by finally moving on from Marty, but more so for deferring to what Matt Rhule wanted in a GM. When he first started talking about non-traditional models and doing things differently and blah blah blah, I remember thinking "Oh crap, we're gonna screw this up and hire some Marty Hurney/Howie Roseman type so Tepper can act like he's the smartest guy in the room". Thankfully, that didn't happen
-
Even Tepper himself has seemed to acknowledge that he kept Marty too long. I suspect if Scott Fitterer does a good job as GM, Tepper's going to get an even better perspective on just how big a mistake that was.

Reminds me of the stuff I've seen about hundred million dollar quarterbacks. I think Roethlisberger and Manning are the only ones to actually win a Super Bowl after getting a hundred million contract. Granted, Tom Brady kind of skews things.

I've seen loads of speculation that the Patriots want Garoppolo back.

I know there's a certain mindset some people have that if they mouth off to somebody famous, it somehow makes them a big deal. My personal opinion is more often than not, it makes you look like a dumbsh-t.

Seriously, what the hell, kid?
-
Yeah, that one's a head scratcher. Bridgewater obviously has reason. Thompson though?

Suppose CMC is part of the deal for Watson

Could be worse. Imagine being dumb enough to think that I, as a random internet guy, actually know more about what's going on inside the team than somebody who works for them. Now that would take a complete moron. -
To call Dan Sileo "hit or miss" would be a compliment. I suppose it's possible though. Bridgewater's skill set would fit Shanahan's system. Wouldn't imagine he'd think of him as a starter though. The news about Shaq Thompson is definitely interesting.

Wait... Do you genuinely not know that Bill Voth is employed by the Panthers? I swear, we've reached a whole new level of dumb in this thread -
Suppose CMC is part of the deal for Watson
Mr. Scot replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
Right Here's the thing. Any time he wants to, Bill Voth can walk up to Samir Suleiman and say "Hey man, what would happen to the cap if we traded / cut this player?" I can pretty much guarantee that Suleiman's answer is not going to be "Let me go look that up on the internet." Feel free to write a hundred more paragraphs trying to explain how your opinion as a guy who looks up stuff on the internet is more informed than that of someone who's actually part of the organization. Just be advised ahead of time that you've already lost my interest. -
That was Grigson, wasn't it?
-
I won't claim to have known this existed.

A guy who's part of the team and has access to their inside people is wrong, but you (random internet fan) who looks at cap websites are right. Wow When you travel somewhere, do you have to buy a separate ticket for your ego? -
Suppose CMC is part of the deal for Watson

If you file it under "anything is possible" sure. I'd give it about the same likelihood as Teddy Bridgewater taking an 80% pay cut because he understands he's not performing well. -

Voth's exact statement is that it isn't. -
I'd agree, but you're always going to have the egotistical coach that looks at an underachieving player and says "I can fix him".

I think if you went back and asked the guys actually running those defenses, they'd have a different opinion. The reason we know this is because many of them said so. -

Imagine having a great quarterback and McCaffrey though. (and yes, that's possible) -
Injury or no injury, not someone I'd covet.
