  1. Potential bad news for Ron Rivera et al, courtesy of the always reliable and certainly never just making sh-t up Mike Florio... I suppose it's possible. There's definitely speculation that the Patriots and Belichick could be headed for a divorce. For what it's worth, all indications so far are that Harris is going to be a very "hands on" owner in DC. Guess we'll see...
  2. Agreed, though I don't think a major overhaul is necessarily needed. if they move Ickey to guard and try to acquire a left tackle better suited for a WCO, that might be enough.
  3. We've had that discussion here, as well. And it's true on both sides of the ball. An example would be if your previous DC ran primarily zone concepts in the secondary but your new one uses man, you might have some who can do both but not all so there'll be some turnover. It's not necessarily that a guy is bad. He might just no longer fit what you want to run
  4. I'm not on board with bringing other backs in till we can see what Cohen has.
  5. Deserved. He shut down one drive in the second half almost singlehandedly.
  6. Three times if you count Indy...
  7. Not real clear on what's "company line" about accepting that Thomas Brown wrote the playbook when he himself says he did. Are our tinfoil hats wrapped so tight that we can't even accept a simple detail like this?
  8. As far as the clip, I'm not sure I've ever heard anybody talk less while being "mic'd up". Felt like Moton talked almost as much as Corbett did. There's also a part around 7 minutes in where he's clapping, then stops and looks at his hands like there's something wrong with them. Not sure what happened there All in all though, a really great video. Seeing him play, and play well, was great. And yes, you could tell how much it meant to him.
  9. Maybe because Corbett was at the end. And I get it. He seems like a great guy. Happy for him.
  10. He was never really a bad runner. Just didn't have the greatest hands. With us moving to an offensive style that involved a lot of passes to runningbacks, I didn't think he'd survive. But he's actually done great.
  11. I don't wear a hat 🫥 Not on as much as I used to be, but still on sometimes when there's something to talk about. Still a little incredulous that I'm talking about this though
  12. Possibly Again, it's Irsay so who knows?
  13. I've sat down to watch this about three times and I keep getting distracted
  14. I think Mrs McDaniels implication was that Irsay might have been doing...other things That was my impression anyway. Could be wrong.
  15. Philosophies and such, yes. The actual playbook? Brown describes that here... Brown dives into the work behind creating an all-new playbook
  16. No, can't say I ever would have predicted anyone actually arguing something as ridiculous as this. Do you guys so desperately need me to be wrong that you'll resort to arguing this kind of goofball conspiracy stuff? That sounds like an emotional issue.
  17. No idea. Would guess it's his wife or girlfriend (I don't know if he's married). Whoever she is, clearly they came up with the costume idea together.
  18. You're seriously arguing that Brown might have lied about having written the playbook? And this at a time when nothing yet had even happened? Damn, dude. I've gotta believe this is just because you want to argue with me, which basically means that's so important to you that you're willing to go out on a limb and say stuff this crazy. Then you turn around and say I'm the one that insists on being right no matter what? Oy
  19. Here's the good thing, though... There's a pretty definitive answer to this question from Thomas Brown himself. I can link it for you if you like 🫥
  20. Thomas Brown: "I wrote the offense" CRA: "No, you didn't, because I said so!" Who to believe?
  21. Well in this case, it would be the facts according to Thomas Brown. Would you suggest that you have more intimate knowledge of what actually happened than he does?
  22. Yep, and he retained the majority of McDaniels staff rather than fire them and forcw them to have to find new jobs.
  23. I was happy already. You argue that you can contradict an established fact because...reasons. That was silly enough to begin with. But then this kind of emotional rant from you as a moderator. And you wonder why people have negative feelings about the forum? What's next? Giving me a warning point for pointing out how bad this argument / behavior is? Yeesh
