Oh, I don't doubt one bit that that's exactly what he'll do. He's made that quite clear. Reich has made clear that he's not a "my way, deal with it" type of guy. And interview questions with one person at a time arent substantive discussion.

Panthers met with Hooker per report
Mr. Scot replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
To be clear, if anybody has "met" with a draft prospect at this point it'd likely be a scout or someone of that sort at the Senior Bowl. The coaching staff is only now coming together and the higher ups in the personnel department aren't making those kinds of meetings just yet. -

You're a terrible person -
Translation: "Nobody knows anything..." "...except me. I know this!" Sure
-
Jarring, ain't it?

If you're not sure one of the quarterbacks you want is dropping that far, it's definitely possible. But again, Reich made clear that he and the coaches haven't had that discussion yet. The front office reportedly likes him, but It's gotta be a united approach or you're basically the Colts.

Thinking that teams are going to keep a guy around for two days and give him the full court press when they're actually not that interested in him is, as the saying goes, "a bold strategy Cotton"

An old friend of ours gets a new job... Happy for Blackburn. I liked him when he was here

Acting as if you know what a certain player is thinking when the player themselves has said the exact opposite is a good way to look kinda silly.

Smart teams also aren't asking for your evaluation of him. And to be clear, neither the Jets nor the Saints did just a cursory free agent visit. Both of them wind and dined him. Hell, The Saints were prepared to trade for his existing contract if he hadn't invoked his no trade clause.

I'd agree
-
People are making judgments that aren't warranted yet for reasons listed above. We don't know any of that for sure. The one thing we do know is that it doesn't make sense for Carr to wait until free agency because right now he has a monopoly. Once free agency hits, that changes.

The smart ones do... -
This whole thing of giving actual answers to questions as opposed to just spewing whatever bullsh-t comes to your mind is going to take some good and used to.

I mean, in fairness...

Jones is a tag possibility. Funny to remember that this time last year Jones looked like a middling quarterback at best. Daboll really helped him resurrect his career. And for that, he gets this
-
Worth noting, the comment from Sheena Quick about "this time last year" is telling...
