Joe Buck has said repeatedly that the word was coming from the NFL. Albert Breer has characterized it as the league and officials following normal protocol, which more than anything shows they didn't grasp the reality of the situation. That in and of itself is more insensitive than evil. But the league has been trying to rewrite the story, making it one of those situations where the cover up is worse than the act itself.

Can't find any confirmation of it so far...

General belief was Payton wants the Chargers but it's not certain they fire Staley.

I didn't. I just put in context what I was quoting (as opposed to your entire post). Now, if you want to say that Moore is a better #2 receiver than a #1, you're not the first or the only person to make that argument. And I'd agree there could be some validity to it. It's kinda hard to say for sure though given that he's about the only threat anybody takes seriously at that spot. Marshall has potential but it's still just that so far.

Harbaugh to Carolina Makes Too Much Sense...

It was in one of the post Rhule firing articles. Might have been Breer. Also could have been Person or Charles Robinson. -
His run after catch ability is among the best in the league.

Looked it up. Apparently he hasn't had an agent for years.

Their QBs improved under their coaching, much like so many of our players magically improved when Matt Rhule was no longer in charge. Coaching absolutely matters. -

Jalen Hurts and Jared Goff are both getting their OCs looked at this offseason. -

As I look at the upcoming search, there's one thing I find myself saying continually... Please don't let Tepper screw this up. We spent the last three years in a state where mediocrity would have been a step up because Tepper had the lamebrained idea to hire a college coach and give him full control. He says he's learned better now, but I still fear what could happen if he gets a wild hair up his ass. -

For his part, John's still a big fan. He has a valid point. I just can't bring myself to jump on that train. -

There are people who stupidly complain about draft picks if they're not all stars from day one. -

Fixed. He may not have been good enough to get the full time gig, but he was at least a qualified NFL coach. -

...that we'll complain about the same way next offseason and keep the rebuild process going for eternity. -

Kunkel quotes Tepper's answer on full control I know some folks think he'll just throw that out the window. I'm not so sure.
