  1. I'm trying to remember anything indicating that Sam was "fighting back". Pretty much all the coverage has been in sync with the idea that Mayfield is clearly superior.
  2. I took that statement with a grain of this... Everybody knows how it's going. Keeping up the charade just looks goofy.
  3. Honestly, this is why a lot of lower round and undrafted guys don't have long careers. Oftentimes they have the ability, just not the durability.
  4. Practice squad maybe... Kinda hard to imagine Rhule completely letting him go.
  5. Coming from David Newton? Probably not much. There are certainly writers whose analytical comments I take seriously, but David Newton isn't one of them.
  6. McAdoo on the left, Mayfield in the hat and Darnold in the cap, can't quite tell who the dude with the hair is
  7. Media these days, I've found regardless of what you say...or don't say, something can most definitely be done with it. The one thing I'd point out here though is that given the organizational structure David Tepper put in place, Rhule's status isn't Fitterer's decision. He may be asked his input on it, or he may not. Either way, he's being asked to comment on something that's not his call.
  8. Perhaps, but there's nothing to prevent you from simply saying "no" if he isn't.
  9. From yesterday, but I'll go ahead and throw it in here. Panther GM Scott Fitterer is asked whether Matt Rhule is under any kind of mandate. He ducks the question.
  10. Don't know. Kinda hard to top Dan Campbell's "I'll beat your ass even if you only have one ass cheek and three toes" quote
  11. Reportedly it's all third and fourth stringers. Ones and twos have the day off.
  12. That's still only a base level explanation. I'd like to know more.
