Are Rivera and Shula coaching all ten games vs Gary Kubiak and Wade Phillips?

Panthers have to “make a true investment” in the OL
Mr. Scot replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
He should probably mention that to the guy who's in charge of those decisions. -
Coaching is part of the team.

Good teams win Super Bowls.

Yeah...Gruden's not coming here. Nor should he.
-
And how long did that last? Winning makes money. Nostalgia doesn't.
-
Neither Rhule nor a new coach is gonna give a sh-t about Panthers history or being entertaining.
-
It only goes so far. There came a time when teams gave up on Terrell Owens too.

What are you going to do if Rhule turns it around next year?

We lost to a team quarterbacked by Taysom frigging Hill, and looked bad doing it. What more do you need to see? -
I'd take Nixon as a runningback coach. He's got at least a half decent track record at that. OC? Not so much.

Coaching makes a huge difference. Darnold has talent, but he's been David Carr'd at this point. And hell, I think even Carr could have become a solid NFL starter but from what I've read, the coaching he received his first few seasons was as sh+tty as Darnold's.

I'm sure Ron Rivera would find that information very useful. Me? Not really up for hoping that we can be some kind of odd exception to the rule. -
Even early Rivera gave me more hope than this bunch. I'm not up for wasting another year hoping this bullsh-t staff somehow learns how to coach in the NFL. It's time to cut bait.

No argument there. And of course there's Brady...
-
To be fair, so is Brown.
-
Breer's not sympathetic either...

Was viewing the game yesterday with Lady Cowboy Fan when we heard Matt Millen and his broadcast partner talk about believing in Rhule and saying that he deserved another year. She laughed and asked what games these guys were watching. -
The primary thing that flexing yesterday's game accomplished was to piss off Lady Cowboy Fan since it meant she didn't get to see the Dallas game.

That wouldn't be a success. It'd be a miracle -
Someone previously pointed out that at the mid-college level, you can generally just find something that works and keep doing it. Doesn't work that way in the pros.

It hasn't always been the first or second drive but it's fair to say he doesn't have what it takes. In a game of chess, Nixon is clearly a checkers guy.
